The learner characteristics during pre-training stage was analyzed and twelve enterprises, which practiced on-the-job training and received government grant-in-aid in 2010, were selected in this study. There are totally 181 valid samples. This study adopts Holton’s Learning Transfer System Inventory (LTSI) to analyze learner characteristics during the pre-training stage. The characteristics include Learner Readiness (LR), Motivation to Transfer (MT), Personal Capacity toTransfer (PCT), and Performance Self Efficacy (PSE). The results show the characteristics of trainees have positive effects on Transfer Effort-Performance Expectations (TE-PE). Among the four factors, LR and MT have the most significant effects. This study can serve as requisites for training practitioners to enhance learner characteristics prior to training. Respondents of this study are learners who have participated in training programs organized by enterprises of various scales. This study suggests enhancing some of the learner characteristics during the pre-training stage to improve transfer of training and training effectiveness in post-training stage by means of regression analysis and factor analysis to examine the characteristics.

This paper presents a study on teacher perceptions of integrating laptop computers. The qualitative, descriptive study documents the role of high school biology teachers in the integration of laptop computers in the classroom, their perceptions of integrating laptops into their biology courses, key factors about the integration process, and how the integration was accomplished. The teachers who participated in the study identified ongoing challenges for accessing appropriate professional development, and for sharing knowledge, skills, and teaching materials.

As an important mechanism of training senior talents, University should develop practical and creative talents. Higher education on college students' practice ability and innovation ability has an important role, which is directly related to the pace of our country’s modernization construction and concerns the future of national development. Through the analysis of our college students' practice and innovation abilities, it is pointed out that there are some questions in the development of students in their practical and innovative capabilities, such as the lack of interest or desire as well as ability to deal with practical problems; so it is urgent to put forward available measures to improve the situation on the following aspects: the build on the construction of both teacher team and reasonable curriculum system conductive to the cultivation of innovative ability.
