The article gives a detailed checklist of the flora of monocotyledonous plants of Sverdlovsk region, based on the long-term field researches, critical study of herbarium materials and literary sources. A brief history of the study of the vegeta-tion cover of the region is given. Information is provided on the distribution, bio-ecological features and economic significance of 394 species, 12 subspecies and 13 interspecies hybrids of monocotyledonous plants of the natural flora of the region. Species in need of protection are indicated, as well as species widely cultivated on the territory of the region, were noted.

We provide information on new finds of Tulipa biebersteiniana in the southeast of the Moscow oblast and in Tula. The possible status of detected populations is discussed.

Long-term data on the demographic and spatial structure of the natural populations Oxytropis floribunda (Pall.) DC. (Fabaceae) in Samara region are given. The ontogenetic spectra of the majority of populations are centered single-peaked, with the predominance of individuals in the mature generative ontogenetic state.
