A feedback has been taken to know likings-disliking of poems by students of Std. IX. 450 students were selected by cluster sampling method from secondary schools of Anand district. A self-prepared questionnaire was used to collect data. Majority of students like Gujarati poems. Some suggestions are given at the end to increase interest of students towards poetry learning.
Evaluation of exercise books is necessary in terms their content, their helpfulness in making students more self- study and increasing their self confidence. 200 students and 20 teachers of secondary schools of Anand town were randomly selected and their opinions were colleted. Exercise books is found easy and students oriented. some suggestions are given at the end.
A try has been made here to know commitment of mistakes in terms of punctuation marks, articles, pronouns, proposition and singular plural norms. 200 students of secondary schools of Anand town were rand only sleeted. It was concluded that boys commit more concluded that boys commit more mistakes than girls. Rural students are more weak in grammar than urban students.
A try has been done here to know English needs of engineering students. It was concluded that, analytical skill was much needed to them rather than their grammatical portion. The use of technical terms. and their meaning was more concern of the students rather than their dictionary portion. Language skill and communication was their priority than that of writing and listening skill.
A try has been made here to know services rendered by college libraries of Vallabh Vidyanagar 360 users (students) were randomly selected as sample. It was concluded that college libraries rendered services of book circulation, news papers and reading room. I.T. based service like network were not given in all the colleges. Students were generally satisfied with the services rendered by college libraries.
A try has been done here to know job satisfaction of college librarians in terms of their salary, leave facilities, work environment, working hours and mutual relations with their college staff. 36 librarians of college libraries of Vallabh Vidyanagar were taken as sample. The data revealed that majority of librarians were not satisfied particularly in terms of their salary and other amenities.
Students, whose mother tongue is Gujarati, commit mistakes in writing Hindi.Here, a try has been made to examine errors committed by student of Std. IX. A sample of 200 students from schools of Vallabh Vidyanagar and Bakrol. It was concluded that students whose mother tongue is Gujarati commit mistakes in writing Hindi grammar and they are also poor in vocabulary.
Opinions (responses) of students of Std. IX regarding Hindi text-book published by Gujarat State Text-book Board, Ahmedabad were obtained. 200 students (100 boys and 100 girls) from 10 (Ten) secondary schools of urban and rural area of Anand district. Overall review of students was positive in terms of quality of paper and printing, content, selection of prose and poetry and it was according to age group. Some suggestions are given by them.
A try has been done here to critically examine content, language, figures, charts and tables, self exercise, their peculiarities as well as limitations. A Sample of 100 teachers was selected randomly from eight blocks of Anand district. It was concluded that language, content and consistence were proper and fair according to need of students.
A try has been made here to know hardness of technical terms of text-book of Economics of Std.XII Total 200 Students of Arts and commerce streams of higher secondary schools of Anand Town. Conclusion revealed that there was no significant difference between boys and girls in terms of understanding of technical terminology. or among schools.
