The Maracanan Journal is the scientific publication edited by professors of the Post-graduation Program in History of the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Its first number was printed in 1999; from 2014 onwards passed to electronic format with semestraly frequency; from 2019 the editions will be published every four months. Original works developed by researchers linked to institutions of Brazil and abroad are welcome. Articles, translations, book reviews, interviews and research notes, received in a continuous flow, compose each issue together with a dossier.
