  • The journal provides an opportunity to review the original results of the latest fundamental and applied research studies on the most actual issues of present-day Oriental studies (Mongolian studies, Sinology, etc.) conducted by Russian and foreign authors in the fields of historical, philological and sociological sciences. The Bulletin of the Kalmyk Scientific Center of the RAS publishes scholarly works within a certain range of topics: history, archaeology and ethnology, linguistics and literary studies, social structure, institutions and processes – as well as review articles of leading experts on the primary focus areas of the journal. It also publishes materials of linguistic, folklore, archaeological and ethnographic expeditions, sociological surveys and polls; introduces archival documents into scientific discourse; provides information about new publications, scientific congresses, conferences and seminars.
