  • Journal description
  • The Romanian Journal of Military Medicine (RJMM) is a medical review founded in 1897, being under continuous improvement and development following the rigors of modern medical publications. It is published under the auspices of Romanian Association of Military Physicians and Pharmacists, but widely opened to the worldwide scientific community. The Romanian Journal of Military Medicine is a national, open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific articles on a broad range of topics not only in military medicine but also in related specialties. The aim of the journal is to disseminate the latest developments in the field to physicians concerned with progress in medicine, and advance the understanding of complex diseases and their treatments, based on the most recent clinical and pathological experiments. RJMM is both a source of information for continuous medical education, and a necessary tool in the development of new clinical strategies that use a modern multidisciplinary approach. The journal publishes original papers, literature reviews, case reports, short reports, case series, clinical images, as well as editorials written by internationally recognized scientists and researchers working in the broad field of military medicine and related specialties. The material will be available online as well as in print. All manuscripts submitted to RJMM will be reviewed by its Editor-in-Chief, and will also be blind-reviewed by a minimum of 2 to 3 additional reviewers.
