The article is devoted to honorary wardens of the district schools of Chernigov and Poltava provinces at the beginning of the nineteenth century. On the basis of archival materials and literature the author has studied the competence of these officials, identified them social status. As a rule, honorary wardens in this region were representatives of the wealthy nobility. They are often combined several elective offices. Honorary wardens were awarded ranks, had a high position in society, but did not receive a salary for their services.

The article describes the experience of authoring program for the formation of productive ideas about safety. The need to build this kind of practice is justified by scientific findings of the predecessors of the authors about the key role of subjective perceptions in the safe behavior. The program is aimed at students of pedagogical college. Under productive ideas about health and safety the authors understand subjective representations of corresponding features of informative presentation about health and safety, their emotional relevance and effectiveness in relation to safety. The development of the program is based on the principles of scientific integrity, continuity and the practice. The program includes the concentration of actions on educational material on health and safety in the disciplines of basic educational program, additional training courses on the psychology of health and safety and the organization of professional support of students-psychologists.

The article deals with the non-private classical secondary education in the Russian empire (autonomous domains excluded). About 2200 profiles on the Russian version of the Open Encyclopedia are analysed. They were divided according to the spheres: philology and literature, arts and social sciences, sciences and technology, fine arts, public service, military service, revolution, clergy, commerce, medicine, as well as regions: St. Petersburg and its province, Moscow and its province, other Russian provinces, the Ukraine, etc. The author shows that there is no direct correspondence between the type of secondary education and its influence on the school-leavers’ choice of profession or career, although the region and the period could have their effect. The policy of the ministry was on the whole less significant, than the political and social situation in the country, the educational process in a particular school and personal preferences of school-leavers.

This is the analysis of the possibilities for professional realization and social mobility for graduates of the eparchial girl’s schools. The author of this article shows that the eparchial girl’s schools were the first educational institutions for people from poor social classes. The analysis of the training plans of the women's gymnasium and eparchial girl’s schools showed a lower level of women's education in eparchial girl’s schools. The article shows graduates of the eparchial girl’s schools much more difficult to realize themselves in the profession and harder to do the higher female courses.

The paper analyses the issues related to the implementation of the state policy in the field of public education in the 1920s. It also considers the problems of incorporation of the teaching corps in the state educational system, those of social adaptation of teaching and cultural socialization of students within the class-politicized system of Soviet education in Tatarstan. We reveal the ideological and practical problems associated with the transition from pre-revolutionary school to Soviet one. We have addressed to new archival materials from the funds of municipal and cantonal departments of public education of the Republic of Tatarstan, which allow us to show the action of the Tatarstan leadership in the process of formation of new teaching staff.

This article deals with the results of historiographical research reflecting problems of political indoctrination of the military in the set of historical and historiographical sources of the Great Patriotic War. Categorial essence of the definition "political indoctrination", that lost its significance at the end of the twentieth century, is gradually revived in modern scientific researches. Though this definition has multi aspect usage today, it is more indicative for the post-Soviet investigations, while in the Soviet-era its synonyms were more often used. At the end of the twentieth - in the first decade of the twenty first century the definition "political indoctrination" was almost not used in regard to the current educational processes. It was replaced with more extended category "patriotic education". Since 2014 the term "political indoctrination" has begun increasingly being used in mass media and also in scientific researches. Organizational and political changes of the ideological development vector in our country, that are clear seen in all the fields of social development in Russia in the second decade of the twenty first century, necessitate transformation processes in the field of historiographical investigations devoted to the military history. Especially it concerns accumulation and analysis of historiographical knowledge for formation and development of ideology quality during military personnel training. The era of methodological pluralism in historiographical investigations starting since the past century, in combination with the structural changes of the global information space , demand searching new models and approaches to the history studies, both on the main theoretical and methodological level, and on the level of specific historiographical problems investigations.

Analyzed studying the history of the bureaucracy of the Russian empire XVIII–XIX centuries in the West European and American historiography. The merit of the scientists was the study of not only the administrative and political development of officials of the Russian empire, but also its socio-psychological and personal aspects. For example, researchers are actively studying: the influence of Russian officials on economic and social life of the empire (L. Mises); psychological connection of the nobility and the representatives of other classes with public service (М. Raeff, Р. Dukes, W. Pintner); worldview of officials (R. Wortman); the transformation of officials into a separate social and administrative group (J. Hassell); personnel of different state institutions (J.P. LeDonne, R.D. Givens, R. Wortman); system of service incentives (H.A. Bennett); the impact of the progressive representatives of the higher bureaucracy for reforms of the first half of the nineteenth century (W.B. Lincoln) etc. Special attention is paid to scientific use members of the American school of russistika, the appearance of which is associated with the beginning of the exchange of experience between the Soviet and American researchers in the 60-70 years of the twentieth century.

The article highlights the need for improving practices in higher education student to overcome conflict. It is disclosed the destructive role of emerging conflicts between students, which entail a violation of psychological security at the level of the individual and the group. It is indicated that in addition to the use of a purely pedagogical and methodological means to overcome conflicts of student, the teacher should be able to attract internal resources for this conflict. As an important internal resource security were marked values formed from the parties to the conflict. The experimental method confirmes the connection of different values of safety and behavior strategies used in the conflict. It is alleged that the knowledge of this connection will allow the teacher to develop a system of pedagogical approaches to overcoming conflicts among students.

The article attempts to analyze the concept of categorical "project activity", which is considered as an innovative means of organizing the educational environment. The article presents the scientific approaches to the consideration of basic categories such as: "activities" and "project" and closely interrelated with its concepts – "design", "project learning" and "project method". Based on the analysis of these approaches to the basic categories is formulated the definition of "project activity". It was determined that the result and the product of design activity is the project.

One component of the problem is the question of the principles of training of their genesis. The article is devoted to the definition of prerequisites for the formation of modern principles of education provided in the system of knowledge of Russian pedagogy. Most important for such studies is the period that begins with the date of the revolution of 1917, and includes 30th and 40th years of the twentieth century. The main guidance in the construction of the new school was the work of a socialist society VI Ulyanov (Lenin). Another source of the wording of the principles of training in domestic pedagogy can be considered the party and government directives. Requirements for the main components of the learning process: the content (through requirements methodical software and textbooks), as well as to the work of the teacher became prerequisites for the formation of modern principles of learning.

The article presents a versatile informative analysis of the phenomenon of patriotism. Patriotism is regarded as a phenomenon characterizing the relation of the subject to his country, his people and readiness for action to protect the traditions and customs of their homeland. The macro and micro factors of formation of patriotism are marked. Different approaches to the interpretation of the phenomenon of patriotism are revealed. It is shown that the complexity of the structural organization of the phenomenon of patriotism, including patriotic consciousness and patriotic activity exists. Various positions in the allocation and criteria of patriotism are formulated.

In the present research the author examines the biography and career of S.S. Vyzhevsky, V.J. Zborzhevsky, A.I. Sawitsky, I.K. Ablamovich, G.V. Grechyna, S.F. Zenovich, A.L. Andrzhevsky, O.I. Osechkovsky, O.S. Hoffman, F.M. Pavlovsky. These teachers taught at the Lyceum exact and natural sciences, in particular, higher mathematics, algebra, geometry, chemistry, technology, mineralogy, zoology, botany, mechanics and other.

This article concerns the issues of pedagogical experiment on the introduction of a special course on the use of dynamic mathematics software, which contributed to the formation of a critical view of DMS as a tool for the professional activity of the future teacher of mathematics. Author's special course presupposed attraction the selected DMS to solving problems on various topics. Lecturers had selected tasks for each of the themes and demonstrated algorithms for solving them (according to the formula: one task – one DMS, various problems – different DMS). Base of experiment is Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.Makarenko. Assumption progress of qualitative influence on the formation of a critical view of DMS confirmed at a significance level of 0.05.

Pedagogical views of Vasili Ulanov, a Russian writer, historian, famous teacher and methodologist of the beginning of the 20th century, are considered in this article. Rational proposals made by the scientist regarding optimization of teaching propaedeutics of elementary course of History in primary school (both in teaching and learning activities and in the development of study materials) are in the focus of attention. It is emphasized that some of Ulanov’s methodological techniques are similar to those of contemporary Pedagogic Innovation Studies and could be applied in modern schools.

Among the contradictions of technological, organizational and methodical areas in modern high school and some of the innovations that are designed to resolve these contradictions the article justifies a conclusion in favor of the using electronic textbooks. The results of the online resources analysis for identifying modern electronic textbook and features of the creation and using such electronic resources are showed. The trends are marked. Authors briefly present their own experience in creating an electronic textbook, which is being tested in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. Authors made a conclusion that among the main tasks of modern teacher training we have to think not only about the acquisition of factual knowledge on the subject and the ability to improve his own knowledge, but also about understanding of the physical principles of operation for the devices supporting using electronic textbooks and methods of their using in the educational process. In addition, article is pointed on need to provide the acquisition of elementary programming hypertext skills and using various multimedia tools in future teachers preparation what will contribute among other the formation their ICT competence.
