The learning process of the physical education and sport in the initial stage of the basic educational degree helps for the construction of the basis formation of the positive attitude of the trainees towards the sport, towards their own physical development and physical capability, towards motivation, needs and interests. The aim of the present survey research is to establish the level of motivation of students in the initial stage of the basic educational degree for participation in organized sport related activities. The matters in the questionnaire can be separated most generally in 3 groups: • first group – motivation of the examined individuals for participation in organized sports events; • second group – attitude of the parents, schoolmates and teachers of the studied towards their sport activities; • third group – influence of the sport activities on the students who are practicing a type of sport.

In the last two years the design of the integrated information system of the University of Veliko Tarnovo was almost completely renovated and absolutely new functional options are offered. The study tracks down the development of one of the key elements of the integrated information system for the University management purposes and specifically – the subsystem E-teacher and its new options are described, including: 1) the automation of the routine administrative activities purposed for the accounting of the academic hours of the lecturers; 2) the use of the system in the process of training – lecturers can publish a study course, assign tasks to the students and others.

The study traces the development of one of the key subsystems of the Integrated Management Information System implemented at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, i.e. the subsystem “E–student”. In the study are presented the renewed design of the system and its new functionalities that expand and support learning and administrative activities in line with modern digital learning environment. An important condition for further development of the entire information system is the determination of students’ satisfaction with the subsystem fuctionality, but that is the subject of another study.

The study attempts to carry out a more in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the issue of social pedagogical work and its place in modern education. Alongside the educating function, Bulgarian schools have always performed upbringing and socializing functions for adolescents, which are implemented through various forms and initiatives. These have been, however, left in the background being less visible and not very clearly defined in terms of priorities and experts’ commitment. Niccolo’ Paganini, il grande violinista genovese (1782–1840) componeva musica costruita su scarne melodie, che venivano poi sviluppate attraverso successive variazioni e divenivano quasi “impraticabili”, a causa delle inconsuete trovate tecniche che stimolavano tuttavia un senso di emulazione presso i virtuosi del tempo. Alcuni di questi dovettero poi “arrendersi” adducendo come scusante il fatto che Paganini aveva composto della musica ineseguibile ma che in realta’ molto al di sopra delle loro capacita’ tecniche. Se delle sue mirabolanti imprese col violinoci e’ stato tramandato quasi tutto, ben poco e’ arrivato a noi delle ore passate a suonare la chitarra, uno strumento che si svela il lato piu’ intimo e nascosto del suo genio.

The article “Evaluation of Teachers: Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument – Revised (TPAI R)” is aimed at articulating the importance of teachers’ appraisal for a wide professional group of novice teachers. A concrete evaluation instrument such as Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument – revised (TPAI R), as a part of evaluation package used in the state of North Carolina, is presented. Author’s interpretations added to the appraisal package content along with description of approaches related to novice teachers’ evaluation demonstrate how important it is to be familiar with evaluation specifics such as: appraisal goals, novice teachers’ needs, key challenges before novice teachers, teacher professional development stages, typical issues in evaluation process and possibilities for their elimination.

The organization of the education in fine arts at Institutes of Higher education needs orderliness in the professional development and gradual enrichment of the artistic visual thinking of fine arts students. This will avoid literariness and illustrativeness in the creating of pictorial compositions. So we set ourselves the task of organizing an experiment that would lead to the integration of theoretical and practical knowledge with artistic creativity and uniqueness of thinking through a series of exercises which develop the associative visuality. We consider that the enrichment of the systematic approach of teaching picturesque composition with practical exercises - “games of associations”, leads to a gradual development and enrichment of the associative visual thinking of the students.

The study of the character of the offender, regardless of his surroundings would build a complete and accurate description, which could lead to inadequate selection of approaches for dealing. The key points from the educative work of the teacher in Bulgarian language and literature in the Primary school „St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – Polikraishte, district Veliko Tirnovo Trifonka Romanova Popnikolva, are considered. Her contribution for the advancement of the level of education in Polikraishte to one of the best in Bulgaria is underlined. Her most significant achievement is the excellent command of the literary Bulgarian language from all her pupils. The distinctive features of her pedagogical labour are presented – phenominal exactingness and very good organization, strict discipline and order in the implementation of the school hours, usage of modern for the time technical means, the introduction of readers’ diaries in which the instructed retell the readthrough, creation of a „Diary of literary works” where first attempts for composing poems and short stories by pupis, inclined to write, are carried. The out-of-class occupations in the theatrical and literature circle „Artistic speech” which she directs, are also properly reflected. As a result of her unflagging efforts, her alumni are more qualified than the Veliko Tirnovo high-school boys and girls and the Sofia students. Attention is paid to her public activity as a Member of the County Committee of the Fatherland Front and as an enlightener in its local organization, oriented towards raising the culture of the population. Her most representative appearances in this path are the restorations of ancient folk customs from the life in Polikraishte. As author, scenario-writer, producer, organizer and director of the staging “Seeing-off to gourbet” (going to gourbet means going abroad to make a living) in which 75 persons take part, she is laureate of the county festivals “Folk art and customs” in Veliko Tirnovo in 1980. The awards with which the National Council of the Fatherland Front honours her for her enormous labour of great public utility, are pointed out, as well.
