Context-aware computing covers research on computational systems which adapt their behaviour so as to provide services or information to users according to their context of interaction. The literature has reported the complexity of development of such systems in the light of their features such as adaptation and heterogeneity of devices and information. This paper describes the execution of a systematic mapping on the requirements specification activity of contextaware systems, which is one of the early stages of software development. The main result includes the identification of gaps and/or research trends on requirements specification of context-aware systems.

The Requirements Traceability is seen as a quality factor with regard to software development, being present in standards and quality models. In this context, several techniques, models, frameworks and tools have been used to support it. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to present a systematic mapping carried out in order to find in the literature approaches to support the requirements traceability in the context of software projects and make the categorization of the data found in order to demonstrate, by means of a reliable, accurate and auditable method, how this area has developed and what are the main approaches are used to implement it.

In Distributed Software Development, the adoption of globally distributed software development teams reduces cost and development time. In order to meet such benefits, it is important to find teams with specific technical background, required for implementing software components and modules that constitute software products. In such a context, it is a key aspect to contrast technical background of development teams against specified technical requirements for implementing the software project, making it possible to select the most skilled teams to develop each software component and module. Hence, this paper proposes, implements and evaluates an application ontology to support selection processes of distributed development teams, which are technically skilled to implement software modules in distributed software projects. As main contribution, experimental results show that the proposed ontology represents and formalizes an extremely complex problem in a systematic and structured way, allowing its direct or customized adoption in selection processes of globally distributed development teams.

The research result is to identify which agile methods are applied in the quality models context. In addition, we sought to identify agile practices that support the implementation of these processes.

The development of new technologies is responsible for the generation and storage of continuous and massive amounts of data. Such type of data is known as data stream. The analysis of data streams may be advantageous in many elds, like bioinformatics, medicine, companies and others, as it may result in important information about the data. In this work, we propose a new software tool for Data Visualization that permits the analysis of the evolution of clusters in real time during the data streaming. The proposed visualization tool is add-on for SAMOA, a new variant of MOA (Massive Online Analysis) for massive data streams mining and processing distribution.

Currently the organization has been concerned with the analysis of the impact of IT investments. Economic pressures, combined with years of significant IT spending without demonstrating clear returns, forced companies to improve their financial practices and justify better and more clearly every penny invested way. Thus, this article presents the model to calculate the return on investment after deploying software. This model was generated from two experiments conducted in the laboratory and in the field, applied in southern Brazil, which showed effective action to catch the post-deployment time metrics. Nevertheless, this article may be applicable to all companies wishing to calculate the temporal return from a deployment.

In this work, trend analysis of Brazilian scientific production of graduate programs in the computer science area is made to identify the main subjects being studied by these programs in general and individual ways.

Among the technologies involved on Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and OLAP have been widely used to identify, collect, process, integrate and analyze information for decision making, thus promoting business management. Data stored in a data warehouse used by conventional OLAP systems is structured in nature. However, data such as text documents, images and videos, characterized as semi or unstructured data, may also contain information of great value to business. In this context, we applied the systematic review methodology with the purpose of identifying, extracting and summarizing the main research results focused on the integration of unstructured data in data warehouse environments. We identified forty two studies which studies were classified in order to identify ongoing research subjects and potential gaps as future trends.

The purpose of this research paper is to explore the knowledge of the existing studies related to cloud computing current trend. The outcome of research is demonstrated in the form of diagram which simplifies the ERP integration process for in-house and cloud eco-system. It will provide a conceptual view to the new client or entrepreneurs using ERP services and explain them how to deal with two stages of ERP systems (cloud and in-house). Also suggest how to improve knowledge about ERP services and implementation process for both stages. The work recommends which ERP services can be outsourced over the cloud. Cloud ERP is a mix of standard ERP services along with cloud flexibility and low cost to afford these services. This is a recent phenomenon in enterprise service offering. For most of non IT background entrepreneurs it is unclear and broad concept, since all the research work related to it are done in couple of years. Most of cloud ERP vendors describe their products as straight forward tasks. The process and selection of Cloud ERP Services and vendors is not clear. This research work draws a framework for selecting non-core business process from preferred ERP service partners. It also recommends which ERP services outsourced first over the cloud, and the security issues related to data or information moved out from company premises to the cloud eco-system.

This article aims to describe contributions that the Ludological Analysis can offer to the development of serious games. We describe a case study evaluating the characteristics of different digital Serious Games for the understanding of the main elements that make players feel challenged and motivated. This study was conducted based on the application of concepts of Ludology, seeking to validate the factors associated with the liminality, a psychological state in which the player feels so engaged in the gaming experience that focuses, almost entirely, in the game. After identifying these factors in the games analyzed in the case study, these features are mapped to the needs and possibilities in the field of education, specifically in the analysis and planning of digital Serious Games, considering that it's observation may represent improvement in the conception and use of these materials.

Here, I emphasize the need for collaborative research among scientists. Such collaboration should aim to address the genuine integrative need to build knowledge rather than searching for visibility based on the international prestige of a collaborator, increased productivity, or funding. Scientists must provide a valid and honest counterpart, such as a solid scientific proposal and performance, and avoid opportunistic motivators.

Recommender systems have been proposed as efficient strategies to deal with the information overload which is an Internet reality. In order to study personalized content recommendation, this paper aims at identifying and analyzing, systematically, methods and techniques adopted in the recommendation context. In the systematic review process, 22 papers have been accepted from the main digital databases in the area. The final results suggest a tendency in the use of strategies to reduce the limitations and to increase the efficiency of the recommendation methods.

Requirements elicitation is not an easy task. Different expectations between users and analysts, redundancy of information and lack of standardization can make this task difficult and conflicting. When it comes to software for the public sector this task becomes somewhat more complicated because of the constant changes in federal laws and regulations. This paper presents a case study of applying work instructions to remedy these kind of problems, as well as others found in the company where the study was carried out. We achieved very promising results, namely better utilization of human resources and reduction of job demand.
