The site presented is brownfield land, The Old Cement Works, in Colne, Borough of Pendle, Lancashire, BB8 8HW, on the west side of Knotts Lane, grid reference SD, easting: 38852080 - northing: 43928970. Its total size is 0.3ha(0.75acres), and is vacant and mostly cement ground. (appendix 1) The site is adjacent to Knotts Lane in Colne and an estate road will lead directly from the Lane to all five houses and their garages. Colne is a town and civil parish six miles northeast of Burnley, 25 miles east of Preston, 25 miles north of Manchester, and 30 miles west of Leeds. The M65 linking it to Preston terminates at the west end of town, whence the A56 leads onwards to Skipton and the A6068 to Keighley in Yorkshire. Colne railway station is the terminus of the East Lancashire railway line, at the other end of which is Preston, making Preston effectively Colne’s gateway to most parts of the UK.

Computer image and spectral processing systems are widely used in the analysis of bread and bakery products. They achieve good accuracy in external or internal classifications, and the cost of the technical implementation of the systems operating with them is significantly lower than the hyperspectral images. In the present work methods for reducing the amount of data of the spectral characteristics of bread and mold object areas, as well as classifiers with non-linear separating functions, were used, where the general classification error between these areas was reduced to e=1-7%. Spectral methods used show higher accuracy in recognition of object areas than using color features.

The analysis of published results on tracking the bread cooling process shows that there is a need for a more in-depth analysis of the known methods and hitherto applied approaches that will lead to the improvement and facilitation of the process for introduction into automated measurement systems. An experimental setup has been developed to measure temperature, mass and electrical resistance on the crust and in the bread crumb when cooled. A comparative analysis has been made and models have been selected which, with sufficient precision, describe the change in technological parameters when cooling bread. Heat losses are determined. The results obtained confirm and complement those from available literature sources. The development of a clear procedure and a technical measuring instrument will make it possible to apply in the production practice the proposed non-complex method for characterizing the change of basic technological parameters in the cooling of bread.

A review of the literature on the essence of the promising and modern method – grain extrusion and cereal extrudates - has been made. A brief characterization of the three basic methods (cold, hot and high temperature extrusion) applied to the extrusion of feedstocks is made. The nature and depth of changes are described in the physicochemical properties of the main components of extruded raw materials – starch, proteins, fats, cellulose and vitamins. Starch is clayed, the proteins denature, the fats partially polymerize, the cellulose is highly soluble, and the vitamins are largely preserved. The rheological characteristics of the extruded products have been followed.

Samuel v Gina Trespass It is uncertain, but in the last reckoning doubtful that Samuel would have the right to recover damages from Gina for trespass to land. (An action for a trespass on the case is a different question, but that is explained below.) Trespass is “a direct intrusion upon land in the possession of the claimant” (Card et al., 2011, p 317). Let it be assumed that Samuel is in possession and not an absentee landlord (in which case the tenant would have the right to sue, unless Samuel proved damage lasting beyond reversion at tenancy’s end); even so, for Samuel to recover in trespass, Gina would have had to cause the toxins to cross over the boundary into Samuel’s property in person, as by accidentally spilling it while stacking the containers. On the facts of this case, the containers “leaked” at a later date, and not “were spilled” at the time, so that the immediate agency of Gina was not involved in their intrusion onto Samuel’s land; therefore, an action in trespass should not lie.

The composition of dairy products, as well as their suitability, are essential for dairy processing, for the management of milk-producing farms. Organoleptic methods for diagnosing disease states as a result of bacterial infections when storing dairy products are subjective and depend on the qualifications and experience of the assessor. This requires the development of new methods for rapid, non-destructive and objective diagnosis. Optical methods such as visual images and spectral characteristics processing can be an alternative to classic chemical and microbiological methods for milk and dairy products analysis. An examination was made of the possibility of using color and spectral characteristics to track the change in the surface of white brined cheese and yellow cheese stored in conditions not in accordance with those specified by the manufacturer, by specifying the time to establish the process of changing of those characteristics.

The article presents the problem of diagnosing the qualities of good teachers. The results of an empirical study conducted with students of pedagogical specialties are presented. An attempt has been made to outline the outstanding set of personal and professional qualities that help to build the image of the good teacher. The subject of the study is the teaching profession. The subject matter of the study is the qualities that define the image of the good teacher The aim of the study is to differentiate between personal and essential professional qualities that characterize good teachers Methods of research: content analysis, pedagogical study, test, pertinent analysis. Results: The results indicate that the students of the pedagogical specialties have a clear vision of the good teacher. Already in the initial stage of forming their pedagogical competences, they conceive of the idea that in order for the teacher to obtain a high public assessment and recognition of his professionalism he needs to be a holder of a large complex of personal and professional qualities through which to effectively realize pedagogical interaction with the students.
