In order to monitor the intensity of work during one hour of physical and medical education in 37students of the Faculty of Philosophy Department of Classroom Teaching in Tuzla, the measurement of the effects of work through the application of polygon barriers was performed as the most complex methodological-organizational form of work. The effects of working and mastering the polygon through the particular phase of the clock (introductory, main A and B) are expressed by the number of heart beats. The heart rate measurement was performed by palpation of the artery radial at the beginning and end of each phase of the clock. During the measurement period, rest was also involved that had the role of a transitional factor from the submaximal / maximal values of the heart rate to the values that would bring near the possibilities and state of the organism to the completion of the final phase of the clock. The results obtained by this research show that the heart rate values in all phases of the clock differ significantly between each other and that the highest intensity of work is achieved in the main B-hour phase, indicating the appreciation of the physiological and emotional load curves that prevail over the course of physical and health education . This suggests that the polygon barrier as the most complex method-organizational form of work contributes to the intensification of work during the class of physical and medical education.

Professional development and permanent professional training became a need and necessity for social workers to perform their work. Everyday social and economic changes lead to complexity and multiplication of problems for individuals, social groups and communities requesting from social work appropriate responses in fulfilment of its varying purposes. Education of social workers does not end at the first cycle of academic studies; it should be a continuous process that includes permanent (lifelong) learning and, often specialist development. Such “policy of profession” is not inherent solely to social work but it is a generally proclaimed vocational need in the current moment of civilization. In the recent decades, the European Union and many European countries developed within their policies of growth and education a concept of lifelong learning. The overall goal of lifelong learning is provision of necessary quantum of theoretical and practical knowledge within the professional field; that is the change of profession and acquisition of higher level of knowledge or innovation of knowledge and increase of competences and capabilities for efficient and effective performance in accordance with requirements of modern standards of quality. Social workers in the Republic of Srpska have a legal and professional obligation to develop professionally to perform their job. While accomplishing this obligation, they do not have a systematic and organized support provided within their social systems or within their organizations. In the absence of research and development institutions in the field of social protection and social work as well as of accredited programs for education, an active role in the lifelong learning process of social workers in the Republic of Srpska should be realized through study programs for high education of social workers and through programs that have the necessary resources for this purpose.

This article gives a brief historical overview of foreign language education in Bosnia and Herzegovina with special emphasis on primary education. Bosnia and Herzegovina has a long history of teaching foreign languages. Geopolitical changes influenced foreign language policy and, thus, different languages have been taught throughout the history of formal education: Turkish, Arabic, German, French, Russian, English. After the World War 2 Russian was obligatory in primary and secondary schools, and even at the university level. Pupils attending grammar schools learned English, German or French as their second foreign language. However, from the 1980ies this policy changed and pupils had the chance to choose between English and German. Majority of pupils (about 95%) opted for English. Again extra-linguistic factors proved to be decisive for foreign language teaching policy and global status of English resulted in its becoming the first obligatory foreign language in Bosnian formal education in the mid-1990ies. It was first taught from the fifth grade and in secondary schools for all four years followed by German or French as second foreign language. With the introduction of nine-years-long primary school in the 2000s, English is taught from the first grade. Pupils now have the chance to choose between German, French or Turkish in the fifth grade. English and one more language are also taught in secondary schools. English for specific purposes is introduced at tertiary level of education. The state organization additionally complicates the situation with foreign language policy. The lack of ministry of education at the state level resulted in the fact that two entities and ten cantons regulate foreign language education policy.

The Harry Potter franchise has proven an incredible success since the publication of J. K. Rowling’sdebut novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, in 1997. Achieving a worldwide success, theHarry Potter novels have been translated into many languages, including those spoken in Bosnia andHerzegovina. However, many of those translations originate from Serbia or Croatia. Our goal is toexamine strategies the Bosnian translator opted for in her translation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, published by Buybook, Sarajevo, in 2015. Translating literature for children is a demanding task since children are the most honest critics, hence, failure of the writer to enchant, and of the translator to successfully transpose the magic of a fairy tale, a poem, etc., is made clear upon first reading. In that sense, the Harry Potter novels are no exception. What is more, the translation process is even more challenging because Rowling created a new fantasy world, abundant with new phenomena (creatures, games, spells, geographical locations, etc.). How does a translator find suitable solutions for notions that had not been known prior to the publication of the first Harry Potter novel, and, at the same time, feel comfortable with the quality of the translated text, keeping in mind the young recipients? Our paper will focus on analysis of lexical categories and translation procedures observed in the translation of this novel into the Bosnian languagage.

One of the focuses in this paper are, firstly theoretical construction of postmodern reality. So, theoretical synthesis in this paper is presenting those new tendencies in thinking and acting that are results of new time called postmodern or contemporary. Secondly, this article is dealing with critical analysis and questioning Bosnian culture in context of Yugoslavian society. However, the third part of this article is connected to analysis of Bosnian culture and Bosnian art in context of post-Dayton society which apparently becomes so schizoid. Trough ethno political construct, misconceptions of Bosnian reality is highly reflected in kitsch content in culture who are, not only, becoming mainstream that dizzying extinguish any chance of cultural and artistic action for critical analytical and aesthetic. Why some artistic actions are today on the edge of social reality, and why in our society culture is completely second matter for the government? – By this questioning, as a result of conclusion there are some inflicted answers which will bring conclusion and suggestion that there is apocalyptic end not only for Bosnian culture, but for society in general view. Research techniques which provided research are: content analysis, interview and questionnaire.

The aim of this study is to assess whether the structure of the family of primary school students affects their success. It is important to emphasize that this paper is an account of a small segment of the overall research that is aimed at assessing the impact of family structure of primary school students on their behavior. For the purposes of the research constructed questionnaire. The study included 100 students in the sixth and seventh-graders at nine-concept studies at elementary school “Sjenjak” in Tuzla. Of the total number of students, 77 had both parents, 15 had one parent, and 8 students without parental care.From descriptive statistical parameters calculated absolute and percentage frequency. Testing conducted using the hi-square test. The hypothesis tested by challenging the alpha level of significance of 95%, or 5% risk (0,05). Realized results in the paper presented in tables and graphs. It found that most of the students who had both parents had excellent, very good and good success compared to students who had one parent, especially compared to students without parents. Realized hi-square test was equal to 25.1276. Since the calculated hi-square greater than limit values hi-square with 4 degrees of freedom, it can be concluded that students with both parents, or those who live in complete families had a significantly better success compared to other students.

Communication and leadership are interconnected and conditioned as it is not possible to manage the organization without communicating, and vice versa. Communication skills are critical to the success of leadership; first to establish a good relationship and then to make an impact on the environment. Successful leadership, especially in politics, requires good communication skills in internal and external, as well as in verbal and nonverbal communication. Communication is one of the most important segments of each political party and political activism in general. Among the main goals which the political parties are trying to accomplish is gaining political power or taking participation in government. The way in which they accomplish the main goals of obtaining the sympathies and public trust (voters) in order to win the public affection of their programs, ideas and attitudes, is through quality communication and public relations. The expertise in convincing public is nonexistent if there is no quality in the communication of the political parties’ leaders. Therefore, special attention is given to the analysis of communication of political leaders, as well as to the communicational aspects as a qualifying factor of political leadership by which the public support is obtained. In speaking, except for the words, the message is comprised of two other components: the voice and use of the body. Nonverbal expression complements verbal communication without spoken words. One of the typical features of political leaders is the style of nonverbal communication. It is determined by differentiating and specifying characteristic paralinguistic aspects of speech, as well as by combination, the degree and direction of nonverbal articulation of individual physical expression. Based on function of political communication we are introduced to the characteristics of the following channels of nonverbal communication: paralinguistic - ways of using voice, facial expressions, body language and strategy of leaders’ display through communication by dressing, decorating the body and the use of artifacts. Therefore, we can say that the correct use of non-verbal communication by presenting the message through the media has a positive effect on the admissibility of political leaders’ style. This hypothesis can be proved by analyzing the contents of the statements given by the political parties’ leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the media. The paper will use the methods of scientific description and structural analysis of the content of media statements of political parties’ leaders who participate in the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The paper will show whether nonverbal communication proves significant for individual leaders and to what extent. It will also show whether proper use of nonverbal communication while making a statement by selected media channels positively affects the admissibility of political leaders’ style. The aim of the work is exploration of the modalities of nonverbal communication as a key determinant of effective political communication which establishes leader’s positive image in the public. In that context, one of the goals of the paper is the study of the influence which quality nonverbal political communication makes on voters. The conclusion which is based on the research points at the role and importance of nonverbal communicational aspects which are correlated with the style of political leadership.

Over the past few decades, there are evidences that scientific paradigm is changed from disciplinary to transdisciplinary approaches. The question of sustainability science, novel ways for production and coproduction of knowledge and a matter of accomplishment for real world problems represent a big challenge for scientific and academic community. Transdisciplinary team-based research, integration of knowledge from different disciplines and a view into complex societal problems from different perspectives can make a contribution for production of new, practice-oriented knowledge, applied for social problems solution. Going to the transdisciplinary approach is especially valuable in social sciences, where collaborative practice became a necessary normative. In this paper authors, first in the context of theoretical considerations describe possible applications of transdisciplinary research in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as post-conflict, transitional community. The second part of article there is emphasized transdisciplinary approach to the problem of juvenile delinquency in Tuzla Canton through research project: „Influence of different contexts of socialization on the development of juvenile delinquency in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina – Recommendations for prevention and intervention“ which is realized in four years from 2010 to 2014. Analyzing of challenges and problems which this interdisciplinary research team was faced with, authors tried to explain that the way of transdisciplinarity is the way for bridging of different discipline perspectives and through research process finding out solutions applicable in practice. Looking for applicable and practical solutions and maintenance of sustainable strategies for socially relevant and real life problems in post-conflict communities is one of the priorities and challenges for universities, academic communities, government institutions and whole society.

In this paper, we try to analyze, in a theoretical aspect, the consequences of hypermodern time that implicitly transform the very nature of family relationships in terms of their content and functions in a contemporary family. The emphasis is placed on the processes of transformation and the process of redefining family processes and functions in a contemporary family. Based on the thought and traditional background of Manuel Castells, Elizabeth Roudinesco and Massimo Recalcati, we start from the fundamental points and go into depth analysis of the consequences of fluid modernity expressed in the phenomenon of the transformation of empirical relations, the crisis of patriarchy and Freudian-Lacanian psychoanalytic concept of the “disappearing father” and “death of the other”. The future of families, alternative family forms are viewed through the prism of the universality of the family, and/or the transformation of the functions of a modern family.

Knowing that the phenomenon of violence against the elderly on the rise in Bosnia and Herzegovina, opted us to make efforts in the direction of its comprehensive research and investigation. The focus is primarily focused on theoretical and empirical research on the characteristics and extent of the phenomenon of violence against the elderly and the risk factors that cause alarm and the development of social deviation. Post-war living conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is characterized by traditional patriarchal milieu, destroyed the system of social protection, social transition and slow the structure of state institutions, and late made legislation, have a significant impact on the prevalence of violence against the elderly. The research results clearly demonstrate that violence against the elderly in social and health institutions in Tuzla Canton there and that is caused by the action of a large number of risk factors. The subjects - the elderly, the potential risk factors of violence against them, according to significance, listed in the following order: lack of supervision in the institutions, inadequate training of personnel, poor implementation of standards, low moral values, stress and professional burnout, personal difficulties and problems, authoritative approach staff tends punishment, understaffing, low professional value and dependence of the elderly on the help of others. The study points to the need for multidisciplinary research and continuous monitoring of violence against elderly people, training and information to the public and by taking various social and legal forms of struggle against violence.

Lyric poetry, dominated by the emotion of sorrow, is the essence of the Classical Ottoman poetry. Out of all emotion-indicating words the sorrow is the one that appears the most, and the concept of sorrow is inevitable topic for the analyses of the Classic Ottoman poetry where it is always expressed through extended (poetical) metaphors. Innovative from the language perspective, these metaphors unveil the poet’s extraordinary insight and outstanding rhetorical skills that enable him to juggle predefined vocabulary in unorthodox way, as well as to wittily make use of the existing system of motives and symbols. The poet’s virtuosity was depicted by his ability to create a new, unseen, image from well known and many times seen elements. In light of the aforementioned, this paper looks at innovating usage of the word gam (sorrow) and other expressions that incorporate it in themselves. Hence, the paper elaborate to which extent these expressions stem out of conceptual metaphors, whether there is an addition of new elements or specific knowledge in the existing mapping, and whether it is a result of merging several metaphors in new structures.

Centers for Social Work, in accordance with Law on Protection from Domestic Violence have a coordinating role in the protection of victims of violence. Centers for Social Work are obliged to form an expert team consisting of representatives of the Center, bodies and departments of the local government, the police, non-governmental organizations and experts dealing with the issues of family and domestic violence in order to establish victim assistance plan, in accordance with their needs and choices. The activities on the treatment of victims of violence, as well as the prevention of violence against children, are carried out through Center for Social Work that provide multisectoral and interdisciplinary approach. Keeping in mind that violence is basically a relationship in which power relations are manifested, it is essential that the relevant institution, including the Center for Social Work are efficiently and successfully involved in early detection, monitoring, prevention and protection of children from violence. In accordance with the Family Law Center for Social Work is empowered to intervene measures of family and legal protection in situations of abuse of a child, its development and exercising their rights. For the purpose of early detection and emergency response in cases of acute violence Centre for Social Work formed Mobile teams to combat domestic violence, which are available 24 hours. Mobile team - a team for providing support and assistance for victims of violence, intervene on the police call, after domestic violence is reported. Members of team are going out on the field where they taking measures to protect victims of violence and provide adequate and the timely assistance. Based on the activities carried out by mobile teams in preventing acute phase of violence professionals at Center for Social Work develops a plan for the protection of victims of violence. Research and experience of mobile teams show growing in number of reported domestic violence and the growing need for engagement of mobile teams. This paper will present an analysis of data relating to the type of violence, activities and measures of protection and re-offending in the city of Banjaluka in the period from 2012 to 2016. Paper presents recommendations for improvement of activities of the Mobile Team that are based on the analysis of data.

Due to rapid expansion of computer technology in the 21st century, better conditions for multimedial approach in education have been created. In contemporary educational trends, IT achievements have increasingly occupied a prominent role. Many schools in the area of Tuzla Canton have already been equipped with adequate computer equipment which can significantly contribute to the realization of all educational goals and tasks. The aim of this paper is to answer the question how to fit modern technologies(such as language educational programs) into modern approaches of German language teaching. Additionally, it will attempt to answer how often do teachers apply modern technologies in the educational process as well as how much of traditional educational methods and teaching aids are currently being used.

This paper presents a real, modern and effective way of acquiring English idiomatic expressions, which are a relevant and elementary part of English. The former ways of idiom acquisition led to the belief that idioms are boring and that they represent a special category which should be memorized by heart. As such, idiom acquisition presented a difficulty and a learning obstacle for high school students and English language students alike. This paper was produced as a result of this need, in order to find a good and effective model of idiom acquisition that would facilitate students' long-term memory and successful idiom usage. At the same time, this paper aims to find a sustainable model which could be efficiently applied within the teaching process from generation to generation. Therefore, it suggests paralinguistic tricks as a learning tool which seems to closely correspond to the latest teaching strategies and foreign language learning styles. Indeed, language and pantomime are two interdependent systems that affect each other and are in constant correlation. Pantomime greatly reinforces the sensorimotor representation of an idiom, which results in its successful long-term memory acquisition in foreign language learning.

The audience in this work, together with her emotions towards the media, is seen as one of the elements of the media brand. Other elements are: media identity, the highest demand, professionalism, trust, social responsible business and strategy of the media (according to the research for this paper, with the media and marketing specialists). In contrast to the traditional media which do not have much understanding for the needs of the audience, since in new media, portals and social networks, citizen is the communicator, who by the rapid placement of news, sent suggestions and comments on information, participates in the creation of media environment. So, citizen journalism exists in Montenegro also. Great lack of professional journalism is lack of links with this new form of journalism prepared by citizens. In terms of polarized Montenegrin media scene, where the media are highly political colored, cooperation of the media with the audience for which they exist would return the dignity to the media. Reporting according to the professional standards, as opposed to the current manipulation would also restore trust in the media, but also benefit the government and the opposition, as a constructive and benevolent corrective in work.

After the death of Muhsin Rizvic the editors of new editions of his earlier published studies and unpublished books carried out a sort of „terminological cleansing“ of the original names for Bosniak literature used by Muhsin Rizvic. This postponed the critical approach to his studies. Denominating Bosniaks as Muslims and/or Bosnian Muslims, as well as denominating Bosniak literature as Muslim and/or Bosnian-Muslim literature was the most obvious evidence how a national literary-science developed, with all its methodological, conceptual, content-related and cultural issues, but also with its achievements, considerations, ideological compromises, and even the oversights made by its deserving individuals, one of whom was certainly Muhsin Rizvic. In this context one must bear in mind the anti-colonial matrix of the official socialist historiography and long-term disinclination of the ideology towards the idea of Bosniak ethno-cultural autochthony and Bosnian integrity, which were carelessly and almost automatically discredited as legacy of Kallay's governance, which substantially determined the coordinates of Rizvić's „hermeneutical condition“.

The paper discusses the issue of globalization, namely the creation of a unique economic, political and cultural environment on our planet and the reflections of this process on education. The wave of changes in the world brings with it the rule of a ruthless competition of inventiveness and knowledge: the onset of the battle of the brains, i.e. by the brains. The winners of this war will be those whose education, specialization and specialties include a greater and better knowledge about the development and utilization of productive forces and whose most significant factor certainly is science. If education is necessary for the development of science, then science is not only necessary for the development of productive forces, but it is also their most important factor. Therefore each country, through the development of education, also provides for the development of science, the technology which is based on it, as the material basis of economic prosperity and political independence, i.e. of the security of the country and nation whose interests the country is realizing. All this shows that, when it comes to globalization and universalization, the present world can only win if cooperation between science and culture is realized. The devotion to this type of relationship between nations and people involves improving education on a global scale, whereby each country should introduce, in its national system of education, a component of internationally oriented education. The paper concludes that the tendencies of education for international orientation are: the affirmation of humanistic values; the understanding of basic contradictions in contemporary society: contradictions between the global and the local - reflected in the need to be a citizen of the world and simultaneously preserve national identity; contradictions between the universal and the individual - reflected in the acceptance of the globalization of the world but also in the preservation of personal self-relevance; contradictions between personal integrity and the cultural identity of one’s nation; and the contradictions between tradition and modernity - manifested in the need to adapt to the new times and new relationships in the global society, with the preservation of one’s own roots of historical development. Also, education should contribute to the realization of, not only multicultural, but an intercultural society, in which multiple cultures are in dialogue and searching for a new, more productive cultural synthesis. This type of humanistic thinking and devotion to the humanization of social development, has two components which are intertwined, the first one is the development of human rights in order to enable the protection of human freedom and dignity, and the other is the creation of a new planetary civilization which will enable the preservation and improvement of the life of humanity as a whole.

The concept of knowledge has a long history inside philosophical tradition, but it was particularly emphasized during the Enlightenment. Knowledge and reason were highlighted as being the only waymarks men needed. To emphasize the concept of knowledge, Enlightenment thinkers had contrasted it with concepts of authority and tradition. According to them, these concepts include non-critical and unexamined acceptance of worldviews, which is incommensurable with the concept of man, who needs to think critically about reality and adopt only those views, which are based on critical insight and not on tradition or authority. Hans Georg Gadamer gave a harsh criticism of this view of Enlightenment thinkers, stating that knowledge and authority are not exclusive concepts as authority is gained through knowledge, i.e. through realization that someone has a superior level of knowledge, and not through blind obedience. Gadamer also emphasized that knowledge is not possible without some pre-knowledge or pre-judgments (prejudices) which serve as a foundation for any knowledge.

The Roman strategy of establishing their rule in the Province of Dalmatia was implemented systematically and following an established pattern. It was based on four separate processes: the first process is pacification, the second is colonisation, the third is urbanisation, and the fourth is Romanisation. The main role in the implementation of these processes was with the Roman citizens and soldiers-veterans. They were the creators of both political and cultural lives in the Province of Dalmatia. Roman citizens were elected as members of the ordo decurionum, ediles, duumvirs, procurators, protectors and other officers. It was via them that the Empire authorities established full control over the subjected populations in newly-conquered regions, with clearly defined political and cultural objectives. Such a strategy was particularly present in the course of the Republican and Early Empire Ages. After that, the Empire began to weaken, coupled with the decline in its influence on both political and cultural developments of life and work in the Province of Dalmatia. This development lasted until 476 A.D., i.e., until the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

Terrorist activities and other forms of violence marking the beginning of the 21st century, and every step to finding a method of action of the terrorist organization represents a significant step in creating the conditions for successfully holding the opposition to or under the control of terrorism in the world. The latest manifestation of contemporary forms of terrorism, given the current social moment a totally new dimension because of fundamental differences that are caused by the development of science and technology, as well as the diversity of socio-economic, political and historical roots of its origin. Under the security threat in contemporary political and security theory include the contemporary security risks and threats, especially terrorism and organized crime go far beyond national borders, posing a serious regional, European, and in some segments and global security threat. Modern science is making great efforts to offer a universally acceptable definition of terrorism. However, despite the fact that terrorism is a real scourge of modern civilization, politics of many powerful states hampers scientific thought and thus delaying the definition of modern terrorism. These are double standards and at the same time some states use terrorism in use, when necessary, without the involvement of its own military forces cause conflicts and instability in the region.

With the withdrawal of the Ottoman Empire from Bosnia and Herzegovina, history notes an endeavour to redefine the presence of Islam and Muslims in the Bosnian society as a presence of a foreign element. In relation to that, politics, which ranged from limiting the presence of Islam as an element of identity, to its suppression by assimilation, to elimination, in a physical sense as well as a self-concept, were used. That process, which was led during peace and war times, is nowadays defined as Islamophobia. When talking about the way of life under Islam, or rather the modus Vivendi and modus operandi of Islam, it’s been constant in BiH and takes place in complicated social circumstances. Therefore, in this work, we will present the challenges and offer possible solutions for the modern Bosnian society. In that sense, it is important to mention new, neo salafi movements, which intend to redefine the Islamic sanctity. In exploring the Islamic tradition of Bosniaks, especially under the conditions of the Islamophobic discourse which is present in the world, the Islamic Community in BiH plays an important role. But, in order to achieve actual impact in preserving tradition and the balanced path, it is necessary to answer the question: “What is the Islamic tradition of Bosniaks?”. In order to prevent a redefining, it is important to take a stand to Arabic folklore tradition of Islam which aims to present itself as the only authentic, and in that sense the relation towards other and different traditions. Also, it is also to take a stand to the pro-socialist interpretation of the role of religion in society, which aims to redefine religion as an irrelevant social phenomenon which leads to the crumbling of social relations, while trying to establish animosity towards religious freedom as a determining identity factor.

(Re)newed emphasis on policy analysis worldwide has had its implications in Serbia, especially potentiated by unfinished transition of its social policy. Theoretical perspectives on policy analysis and their adaptations differ among the countries, however, certain common elements of the policy analysis logic can be found. Also, a description of the activities of a policy analyst can be agreed upon, to serve as guidance, for the purpose of its comparing with the actual social policy analysis practice. The experience in social policy analysis in Serbia is presented within the historical context.

The language mirrors the culture that constructs it and gender perspective in linguistic researches of Turkish language is a very interesting subject and represents a special challenge, primarily because Turkish language does not recognise gender category, which confirms the fact that gender is a social category firmly grounded in sex. The primary goal of the work is to shortly present the representation of woman in Turkish language on the examples from the short stories written by Erendiz Atasü i Füruzan. Given that the turkish society is conceived on the male model of power, in which the political regimes enabled and are still enabling predominance of one (male) gender over another (female) gender, the work tries to expose this dominance that could give a significant contribution to the destruction of stereotypes in gender roles. Cultural patterns about the (in)equality between genders, that we acquire through socialisation in the process of learning a language, define woman through stereotypical gender roles and patterns of behavior. By analysing the examples from the short stories of the mentioned Turkish authors, the work tries to point out the fact that there is a discrimination against woman in the society, culture, language... Also, the work represents a kind of an attempt of awakening that should result in the use of gender-sensitive language.

The quality of teaching, educational work of teachers is directly related to the competencies of university teachers. The interdisciplinarity of the program for training teachers in university studies, can be a good basis for creating a new quality of teaching. It includes a variety of approaches to scientific fields, in order to build competencies needed for educational work in teaching modern school. This requires innovation curriculum, as well as changing the entire didactic - methodological organization of teaching in higher education, which must overcome the traditional paradigm of teaching and integrate value Paradigm Learning, based on interactivity and active participation of students. The aim of this study was to assess the quality of teaching in pedagogical and psychological group of subjects in the study programs of the University of Tuzla, which educate students for teaching. Used analytical - descriptive and survey as a variant of the analytical and descriptive methods, and procedures of content analysis and survey. It is assumed there is a statistically significant difference in the evaluation of the quality of instruction given the clear emphasis on the objectives and demands of the course, preparedness and interesting classes, active participation of students interact during classes, the democratic principle of freedom of expressing an opinion and attitude, and to evaluate the quality of teaching varies according the demographic variables gender, academic achievement and degree program in which students study. The research results show that students are not completely dissatisfied with the quality of the education system, but certain parts of the higher education system, ie. part of which remained marginalized in the reform process - the pedagogical and didactic - methodical aspects of reform relating to education and its organizational structure, whose quality failed to meet the expectations of students, because it is not compatible with the modern achievements of pedagogy, didactics and methodology of teaching.

We live in the era of a reality constructed by media. Today, the key access to media is political and commercial and even cognitive resources and social effects of the media can be both positive and negative in general. In this paper the authors analyzed and empirically investigated the complex relationship between the TV series (soap operas) and social behavior. According to Rössneru, social behavior is manifested through two modalities: socialized and disocialized. The first one contributes to the community development, harmonious relations among its members (e.g. collaboration, cooperation, friendship, selflessly helping others, etc.). These other forms break down the community and lead to conflicts, including interpersonal conflict (e.g. destructiveness, aggression, lust, addiction, neurosis, gossip, selfishness, etc.). If watching soap operas can help us significantly reduce stereotypes and prejudices towards certain countries, then the positive effects are existent.There is considerable semantic overlap but also differences between film series and soap operas. Universal definition of soap opera does not exist, while television series include a range of movies, which are usually emitted on the television at the same time, on certain days each week. Soap opera stands for the radio and television drama series type which is characterized by the absence of classic denouement, or nominally unlimited duration, that is number of episodes. A soap opera is an American term. It is the term that was created on the radio stations in the thirties of the last century, and was sponsored by the manufacturers of detergents and cosmetics. Soap opera is a pure example of the television kitsch. Its plot is banal, predictable and memorable with characters whose past is full of scandals and sensational twists. Soap operas represent a major escapist preoccupation for most of the passive and average audience, whereas for the media researchers and leisure time explorers, it is one of the major new challenges. Anthony Giddens is a British sociologist who reminded us, with good reason, of the fact that the basic observation of multiculturalism is based on assertions about the impossibility of a strict separation of different media and cultural products, and in the same time the sudden popularity and wide audience of Turkish, Mexican and Spanish soap operas and series further contributes to the intrigues of these claims. Soap opera in the cultural, anthropological and media terms do not always have only negative effects. Despite all the negative effects of passivity and commercialization of citizenry, which come with the process of neoliberal globalization, the analysis of Turkish soap operas may contribute to the cultural project of universality of elementary human values such as: love, peace, honesty, family harmony, solidarity, understanding and diversity of human experience. At the second stage of analysis, scientific research of the Turkish soap opera can contribute to the relativization of certain stereotypes such as irreconcilable differences between Western and Eastern cultural values that are promoted and imposed by the television series and soap operas, as the dominant commercial media products over the past twenty years. This is particularly evident from the analysis of the impact of Turkish soap operas and the increase of the level of their audience in the media of former Yugoslavia, except Slovenia. The general concept of diversity becomes particularly important in the former socialist countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia. For instance, T. Adorno found that the industrialization of the culture promotes art forms that encourage passivity, while avant-garde art forms encourage critical thinking and resist commercialization. Ferhat Günes, a Turkish scholar states that the content of the TV series may have a significant impact on family and relationships in it. This paper will focus on the results of the research on students' attitudes towards the effects of Turkish soap operas on the social behavior in youth. The research sample consisted of a total of 3OO students from the ten faculties at the University of Tuzla - Bosnia and Herzegovina. The research results support the hypothesis about the positive impact of Turkish television series, as was declared by the 77 percent of respondents, while 23 percent of respondents said that the effect of Turkish television series on the social behavior of young people is negative. According to the results, 82.5 percent of respondents believe that the television series encourage children and young people to become violent. Based on the results of a survey we have pledged to imagology in the context of examining both the positive and negative effects of Turkish television series in youth behavior.

This paper undertakes to examine the gender politics of Yevgeny Zamyatin’s We (1924), the probable prototype of the modern dystopia, by analyzing how the author adheres to or subverts the characteristics of dystopia specifically in terms of gender representation. The novel illuminates anxieties about gender issues of the author’s time. It can be argued that Zamyatin’s concern is with equality (sexual and otherwise) at the expense of individuality and creativity within the socialist state. It is my contention that in We, Zamyatin suggests that enforced equality will not solve the gender and sexual inequalities of the day. Furthermore, Zamyatin uses socio-political satire to comment subversively on the complexities of the patriarchal social and political structures present in the society in which he wrote. This paper observes that for Zamyatin, gender and genre are flexible, and that stylistic elements can be the focus in a genre that some would characterize as polemical, topical, and political. Dystopias are thought to be imbedded in a particular political milieu, but this paper shows that there are certain qualities and themes that are common to the genre, no matter when or where the dystopia is written or set.
