Influence of individual factors on professional development of civil servants

The authors consider the factors of professional development of civil servants, introduce the results of the research of individual value system, motives and their attitude towards professional development of civil servants.
Method and methodology: classification, polling, tests.
Results: the authors developed a classification of civil servants’ professional development factors, described individual factors of their professional development, identified dynamics in development and dependence on the occupied position.
Application area. The results of the research and the discovered dependence and contradictions can be applied in constructing and correcting the system controlling professional development of civil servants.
