Biochemical changes were observed from healthy and artificially inoculated mancozeb resistant (At6) and sensitive (At5) isolates of Chuka (Rumex acetosa L.) caused by Fusarium proliferatum. There was found significant variation between healthy and infected leafy vegetables showed significant changes with respect to estimation of Moisture content, total sugar reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar, total ash, crude fiber, phosphorus, fat, ascorbic acid, calcium, iron and crude protein. Among them, moisture in the Rumex acetosa infected with sensitive and resistant strains was decreased. Among them total ash was increased in healthy leaf, sensitive and resistant followed by Crude protein, Phosphorus and Ascorbic acid, healthy leaf sensitive and resistant. In case of total suger it was in reduced infected leaf. But Calcium and Fat however was decreased due to infection of both isolates.

The present paper deals with the effect of light intensity on health status of broiler chicks. The study was conducted to analyze the effect of light intensity on health status of broiler chicks. The work is carried out from the three different poultry farms ranges from small to large size poultry farms situated in Aurangabad district during the period July 2016 to December 2016. During the study period it was recorded that major health status problems of broiler chicks faced by the farmers of small poultry farm followed by medium and large poultry farms. It also showed that the major health status problems of broiler chicks faced by the farmers those are insufficient management practices. It is concluded that the health status problems of broiler chicks occurred due to light intensity and its management by the farmers in the study area is improper, due to lack of knowledge about the issues and use of light in various intensities during the rearing of broiler chicks. Additional research work is required to manage the health status of broiler chicks with proper lightening in the poultry farms. Other related aspects will discuss in the text

Butterflies are an integral part of the forest ecosystem. They show distinct patterns of habitat utilization. Being highly sensitive to changes in the environment, they are easily affected by even relatively minor perturbations in the habitat, so much so that, they have been considered as indicators of environment quality and health of an ecosystem. In present study, for 2017 the study is divided in three seasons viz., PreMonsoon, Monsoon and Post Monsoon, selected sites were visited twice in each season between 7.30 am to 12.30 pm and butterflies were identified for their systematic diversity studies by using insects net, insects boxes, spreading boards, oven, butter paper envelopes, camera, hygrometer, GPS instrument etc. 42 butterflies belonging to 29 genera from 5 families and 11 subfamilies are recorded from the study area. During present investigation, it was found that 3 (Papilio helenus, Eurema laeta and Caleta caleta) species are rare, while describing their status and justifies its inclusion in Scheduled List suggesting the need for its strict conservation measures. These findings are important with respect to monitoring butterfly diversity and defining conservation strategies in the Ajanta Caves area in Aurangabad District of Maharashtra State.

Plants are the major source of large amount of drugs that are used in treatment of several diseases, it contains valuable secondary metabolites. In present investigation focused on the secondary metabolites (Phytochemicals) from the Semecarpus anacardium (L.), aqueous extract (Aq. E.) and ethanolic extract ( Et. E.) of root, bark, leaves, flower and thalamus selected for preliminary phytochemical screening. The purpose of this study is to check the presence or absence of secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, tannins and saponins, etc.

Plant extracts are being used to control the diseases since last several years. Calotropis gigantea leaf extract are reported to exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activity in the literature. It was found to be effective against seed-borne pathogenic fungi. The in-vitro studies have been performed by using cup-plate method to examine the antifungal activity of C. gigantea leaf extract. It was screened against 5 seed-borne pathogenic fungi viz. Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus niger, Curvularia lunata, Fusarium moniliforme and Trichoderma viride. Out of them, antifungal activity of C. gigantea leaf extract against C. lunata was found maximum (Mean activity zone - 19.33 mm) followed by A. alternata (Mean activity zone - 17.67 mm); while minimum activity was observed against A. niger (Mean activity zone - 14.67 mm). C. gigantea leaf extract can possibly be exploited in the management of seed-borne pathogenic fungi to prevent biodeterioration of seeds in an eco-friendly way.

Wherever the sunlight is available, there were presence of phytoplankton, they spread uniformly and extend down to various depth. The diversity of phytoplankton was systematically studied form the Mangi dam, Karmala, District -Solapur during the period January to December 2017. Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Bacillariophyceae and Euglenophyceae were represented by 12, 06, 08 and 01 species respectively.

This communication deals with the study of piscivorous birds of Kunsawali tank, Osmanabad (M.S.) India. The work was carried-out during the year 2017 (January to December). Minor irrigation is the main purpose of this tank. The water of this tank is mainly used for irrigation & fisheries purposes. The fishes like Catla-catla, Labeo-rohita Cirrihina mrigala, Luprinus carpio, Mystus seenghala etc. were found. The piscivorus birds were observed near this tank. The provide damage to fish culture by cosuming the stocked fish.

The present communication deals with the study of solid waste management in Sunderrao Solanke Mahavidyalaya, Majalagaon, Dist Beed (Maharashtra). In order to reduce waste at College campus, recycling efforts must be improved and organic recycling services must be provided. Additionally, students, faculty, and staff must be properly educated on proper waste management practices. The constant production of new products and packaging means knowledge of recyclable and compostable materials has become a complex and confusing topic for many people. College students, staff, and faculty often lead busy lives and value convenience; as they go about their day rushing between activities and classes, the purchase of single-use products is often the most convenient choice. Solid waste management was undertaken from last five years (2012-2017) to assess the type and amount of waste generated in college campus. By this following proper management we tried to avoid impact of solid waste on health of student and Environment.
