His paper was presented at a roundtable forum organized by the Department of Preschool Education on the occasion of its 30th birthday. It is dedicated to a topic, which is significant and relevant for the preschool and school education in Bulgaria, as well as for all Bulgarian families: “Preparing children for school from age 4 onwards”.
The paper presents and analyzes the performance of pre-school education in the sphere of compulsory preparation for school. Arguments are given in support of the need to ensure a fair start for school education by broadening the scope of children in preparatory groups. The paper specifies the requirements to the content of the curriculum and the qualification of pedagogical subjects and outlines the challenges to the compulsory preparation of children for school.

The article “Evaluation of Teachers: Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument – Revised (TPAI R)” is aimed at articulating the importance of teachers’ appraisal for a wide professional group of novice teachers. A concrete evaluation instrument such as Teacher Performance Appraisal Instrument – revised (TPAI R), as a part of evaluation package used in the state of North Carolina, is presented. Author’s interpretations added to the appraisal package content along with description of approaches related to novice teachers’ evaluation demonstrate how important it is to be familiar with evaluation specifics such as: appraisal goals, novice teachers’ needs, key challenges before novice teachers, teacher professional development stages, typical issues in evaluation process and possibilities for their elimination.

The significance of the Jump Math system during its approbation has been outlined, along with its main contributions and its effectiveness in motivating young pupils’ thinking during the process of mastering mathematical knowledge in primary school.

System selection is a pedagogical, long-term, systematic, complex and dynamic process driven and focuses on personal choice, individual who have optimal morphological, psychological and physical potential for achieving high
performance sport in sport. The intention of our study is to present a system for selection in minihandbala of children in early childhood. It is recognised that current physical activities that minihandball are practical, original and justify specific field of study. Modern technologies ease the process of the study and are favoured in this area. Specific components of the sport selection are: optimal morphological characteristics and high level of mobility. Selection is frequency and starts from the beginning of the selection and lasts until the end of the sports career.
This essay focuses on the problems of the interaction between an executor and a note text through the prism of figurative writing. Thorough analyzing of figuration is very useful in making performer’s plan of mastering any note text. Notation itself does not always reflect peculiarities of reproduction of figurative sequences familiar to an art executor’s practice of an epoch. So, want for authentic interpretation leads to the need for studying materials on executive styles related to a national clavier or piano school. Raise of texture and structure on the basis of an instrumental device or improvisations is characteristic to many styles. A number of pianists – composers of the 18th, 19th and 20th century original decisions were “prompted” by their fingers.
