Organization of the system of the herbarium storage funds is analysed in a review, which includes the observance of the scientifically reasonable special regimes – maintenances of certain humidity, temperature, lighting and composition of air. The basic herbarium pests, and also methods of prophylaxis damage of the herbarium collections, are brought against them.

The case study of small populations of the rare Carpathian species is focused on the most informative parameters of their viability, developmental perspectives in the natural conditions and recoverability after disturbances. Such characteristics are their genetic diversity, effective and general numbers, habitat area, numbers dynamics (especially in fertile individuals), effectiveness of seed and clonal reproduction, age structure, intrapopulation heterogeneity, individual viability and ontogenetic variability, interaction with neighboring species.

The dynamic regenerative succession of moss cover in sand outcrops of Volyno-Podillya was investigated. Xero-, meso- and hygroseries of psammophilous succession were described according to humidity of habitats. The schemes of serial bryocommunities changes were pointed. In investigated outcrops were found 56 species of Bryobiontes, distributed on 13 associations, 6 alliances and 5 classes of moss vegetation.

17 bat species were noted during the investigation in the Uzhanskyi NP during 2008-2011. 5 species (29,4 %; R. ferrumequinum, R. hipposideros, M. dasycneme, P. auritus, B. barbastellus) were noted during all the year. Ocurrance of 15 bat species were confirmed in summer-autumn seasons. 7 species (R. hipposideros, R. ferrumequinum, M. myotis, M. nattereri, M. mystacinus, M. brandtii, P. auritus) were found in 11 underground shelters. We checked 11 lofts of charches (incl. belltowers) and recorded the presence of bats in 7 ones (63,6 %; R. hipposideros, E. serotinus, P. pipistrellus, P. auritus, B. barbastellus). According to the ultrasound detectoring results, E.serotinus was one of the most numerous with the frequency of 12-52 %. More than 30 key bat elements and habitats for special attencion and protection were selected on the base of investigation results.

Centaurium erytraea Rafn. - a two-year herbal medicinal plant family Gentianaceae, grows throughout the territory of Ukraine in the floodplains of rivers, ponds, marshes, streams. The article presents the greatest habitats C. erythraea in different parts of the Transcarpathian region. The results of investigation of their yield, and materials of biological and operational resources.

The information about the put in to Red List of Ukraine, rare and little-known molluscs registered on the territory of Ukrainian Carpathians (including Ciscarpathia and Transcarpathia lowland) are analysed in this article. The most from described species need in the special protection (mainly on the level of the protection of the settled by molluscs biotopes) or in the more detail studying.
