Evaluation of an arterial hypertension program according to current regulations

Objective: The objetive was to identify the compliance of the indicators for the arterial hypertension program of an institution health services provider in the city of Santa Marta, in accordance with the Technical Annex No. 1 of Resolution 1043 / 2006 and The Guide Attention of the Arterial Hypertension established by the Ministry of Social Protection. Materials and methods: The evaluative and cross investigation; the analysis unit constituted for a institution health services provider and medical history belonging to 204 patients with a diagnosis of arterial hypertension, with a one year or more time of
evolution; information collected through the use of a checklist validated for experts. Results: Compliance
of the indicators of the program distributed as follows: human resource (100%), infrastructure (50%),
staffing (83%), process of care (50%), referral and counterreferral (100%), medical history (89%), diagnosis
(52.5%), treatment (75%), monitoring the patient (100%), risk monitoring (0%). Conclusions: The program
comply the indicators in a 69.95%, according to the compliance scale is in level 3: satisfactory
