Considering this huge potential, the paper intends to provide the necessary background on the trends seen in urban agriculture in built environment in New Delhi City initiated by individuals and community groups who have started urban farms as businesses and as non-profit social enterprises. An effective and efficient road transport system requires regular road maintenance. Road transportation facilitates the movement of people, goods and services in all sectors of the economy, including tourism, mining, trade, health, education and agriculture, among others.A growing concern for public transit is its inability to shift passenger�s mode from private to public transport. In order to overcome this problem, a more developed feeder bus network and matched schedules will play important roles. The present research aims to review some of the studies performed on Feeder Bus Network Design and Scheduling Problem (FNDSP) based on three distinctive parts of the FNDSP setup, namely, problem description, problem characteristics, and solution approaches. The problems consist of different Sub problems including data preparation, feeder bus network design, route generation, and feeder bus scheduling. Subsequently, descriptive analysis and classification of previous works are presented to highlight the main characteristics and solution methods. Finally, some of the issues and trends for future research are identified. This research is targeted at dealing with the FNDSP to exhibit strategic and tactical goals and also contributes to the unification of the field which might be a useful complement to the few existing reviews.

Rankque Hitsh Vortex tube takes in compressed gas and produces cold gas. The major reasons attributed to this drop in temperature are sudden expansion, centrifugal effect, secondary circulation, friction. We have fabricated a vortex tube which uses air as working fluid and produces cooling effect. The flow characteristics such as temperature, pressure, discharge, mass flow rate, velocity etc. were measured. Our observations were tabulated and plotted. The values were obtained for input pressure such as 7-6bar, 6-5bar, 5-4 bar and 3-4bar. The vortex tube is used as cooling equipment in CNC machines, spot cooling applications etc. Since no moving parts are involved, this system requires less maintenance. Overall this paper intends to focus broadly on two aspects-geometrical characteristics of the vortex tube and thermophysical parameters involved.

This paper presents a novel smart meter design with a focus on the peculiarities of energy metering and billing challenges in Nigeria. The smart meter can be remotely configured at the control centre to work in either pre-paid or post-paid mode which allows for flexibility for various types of customers. The microcontroller based meter communicates with the energy company control centre via SMS using the embedded GSM Module. Using an LCD display or the globally accessible web based portal, the customer can track and manage their energy usage according to their financial means.

The research was conducted to assess the condition of the internal organs (liver, lung, heart, and small intestine) of slaughtered sheep and goat at Bachirawa abattoir in Ungogo local government, Kano state. A total of 23,638 sheep (both sexes) and 36,700 goats (both sexes) were slaughtered between August and October, 2012 which were used for the study. The organs were examined on the spot visually and through palpation or incision to identify abnormalities. Descriptive statistical analysis using simple percentage was used to analyze the data collected. The results indicated that, major pathological conditions were Faciolosis (5.71% in sheep, 4.09% in goats), Tuberculosis (4.32% in sheep 3.13% in goats), Pericarditis (3.86% in sheep 2.76% in goats), Contagious Caprine Pleuro-pneumonia (0.88% in sheep 0.68% in goats)-CCPP, round worms (2.96% in sheep 25.07% in goats) and tape worms (30.98% in sheep 21.66% in goats) infestations. Out of the 12,762 infected organs examined in goats, 990 (66%) liver, 828 (59%) lungs, 712 (70%) heart and 6,240 (70%) small intestine were partially salvaged. While, 510 (34%) liver, 572 (41%) lungs, 300 (30%) heart and 2,610 (30%) whole organs were condemned. In sheep 11,497 were examined and 933 (69%) liver, 799 (65%) lungs, 502 (55%) heart and 5,940 (74%) small intestines were partially salvaged. While, 414 (31%) liver, 428 (35%) lungs, 410 (445%) heart and 2,068 (26%) intestines whole organs condemned. The results of this study revealed the incidence of zoonotic diseases (CCPP and Tuberculosis) and highest occurrence of worm infestation in the slaughtered small ruminant at the abattoir. This necessitates the need for increase in the number of meat inspectors for proper record update which could be used by relevant authority in planning preventive and control programs.

In photovoltaic (PV) application, it is possible to remove the transformer from the PV system in order to reduce size, losses, and cost and improve the efficiency. Due to the characteristics of low cost and high efficiency, the transformerless PV grid-connected inverters have been popularized in the application of solar electric generation system in residential market. Unfortunately, presence of the parasitic capacitor between the panel�s metal frame and cells causes the leakage current issue. The leakage current increases current harmonics injected into the utility grid, the radiated, conducted EMI, and losses. Eliminating the leakage current is one of the most important issues for transformerless single-phase photovoltaic (PV) systems. This paper focuses on analysis of leakage current elimination in single-phase transformerless inverter for PV applications. A simple unipolar Sinusoidal Pulse-Width Modulation (SPWM) technique is used to modulate the inverter to minimize the switching loss, output current ripple, and the filter requirements.The main benefits of the proposed inverter are (1) The neutral of the grid is directly connected to the negative terminal of the PV panel, so the leakage current is eliminated, (2) low cost, (3) its compact size, (4) flexible grounding configuration, (5) capability of reactive power flow, and (6) high efficiency. A complete description of the operating principle and analysis of the proposed inverter are presented and simulation results are verified.

Cloud computing is one of the powerful computing that connect the whole world. Huge amount of data get uploaded over cloud so that it can be accessible by the user at any time and any point. Security must be concerned related to confidentiality of data, integrity of data, availability etc. Data stored over cloud is physically not accessible to the user. Data modification can be done by unauthorized user or by some malicious activity so user needs to be ensure that their data is secure or not. Therefore mechanism is required where user can check if integrity of its data is maintained or compromised. There are various methods are available such as mirroring but it require more storage space. Sometimes we need TPA to verify the data. In this, user check the integrity of its data store over cloud environment and detect the suspicious activity. For this new scheme �Data Provenance� is used, that collect the history data of user. On the basis of which, suspicious activity is detected. Provenance data is used to collect the history data and identify the user behaviour. Using this we reduce the need of TPA and replication of data item on client side for integrity checking as checking part is done over cloud infrastructure.

Thermocouples are inefficient in measuring the temperature of the detonating carbon particles, whose temperature ranges from 1200K to over 1800K. An accurate and reliable method is required to measure such high temperatures of the carbon particles because temperature measurements will allow us to monitor and control the reaction kinetics of various industrially essential reactions. Optical pyrometry is thought to be one solution to this problem. It can be mono-color, two-color or multi-color. The two-color strategy is broadly utilized as a part of the non-contact temperature estimation of ignition blazes from radiation pictures, generally in view of the spectroscopic qualities of the picture sensor, and the delegate wavelengths for the red, green and blue channels of the picture shaping gadgets, for instance, Charge Coupled Device (CCD) cameras. In this research work, a strategy to get the temperature pictures from a digital advanced camera is delivered. The camera used for this work is Canon EOS750D Rebel T6i. In this strategy, it is important to catch picture data by the picture handling framework from a blackbody heater at various temperatures which cover the conceivable temperature scope of the ignition procedures to be estimated. The temperature measured by this method is validated in the literature. Modification in the existing method to make it more accurate is worthy of study.

Out of many recent methods for leakagedetection,there exist a technique based on flow and pressure measurement but off course this need a nonlinear model simulation of fluid pipeline for processing the available data andsimulate the flow of a used fluid with proposed leakage occurrence. These various techniques in pipeline leakagedetection using ANN. The computational detailed analysis handled by accurateneural network models can replace the human intervention in theduty of monitoring fliudflow and pressure waveforms which tend to warnthe technical staff by the leakage occurrence and inform the magnitude andlocation of the leakage along the pipeline . This technique could be applied totrack the distribution networks of natural oil and gas pipelines as well as industrial,commercial and residential gas pipelines in order to have safety operation and avoiding severe human health injuries or hazard environmental conditions causedby toxic gas leakages. The numerical solution is complex and out of this work's scope, however considering the availability for experimental test-bed that can simulate the actual pipeline used in the oil industrial field. Testing the proposed model is satisfied by using a back propagation neural network with the data-set for the normal and different leakage kinds in the oil pipeline to analyze the events and classify the leak existing and its magnitude by using classification performance measure such as error performance and confusion matrix. So different algorithms for training the proposed model is adopted with various transfer function characteristics in the hidden and output layer neurons to investigate for the suitable algorithm and to search for the optimal transfer function for the leak classification problem.

In this paper, a wide dual-band non-uniform Normal Mode Helical (NMHA) is presented at UHF band. Two non-uniform NMHAs with different diameters that nested each other are used for increasing wideband. The proposed method can be lead to design wideband antenna and dual-band antenna with small frequency ratio. A sample antenna has been simulated and fabricated. Simulation results are shown that 7.6% and 9.95% fractional bandwidth (FBW) have obtained at center frequencies of 462 MHz and 905 MHz, respectively. There is a good agreement between simulation and measurement results.

Farmers should aware of with-in field variability of soil property in precision farming practice. The problem is how to provide reliable, fast and inexpensive information of soil property in the subsurface from numerous soil samples and repeated measurement. The proximal soil sensing has emerged as a rapid and low-cost method for extensive investigation of soil property. The objective of this research was to develop calibration models based on laboratory Vis-NIR spectroscopy to predict the value of soil property at different growth stages of soybean crop on two small farms (Gunung Kidul and Bantul) in Yogyakarta Province. Some standard methods of soil analysis were applied to measure the soil texture, soil moisture content, soil organic matters, pH, N, P, K, Fe, and cation exchange capacity of 80 soil samples. An ASD Field-spectrophotometer was used to measure the reflectance of 240 soil samples. The partial least square regression (PLSR) was performed to establish the relationship between the measured soil properties with Vis-NIR soil reflectance spectra. The criteria to select the best calibration model was the largest coefficient of multiple determinations (R2) and the smallest of root mean square error (RMSE). The selected calibration model was used to predict soil property of other 160 samples. The ability of Vis-NIR spectra to predict values of soil property was categorized based on residual prediction deviation (RPD) values. The results revealed by RPD values showed that the models performed vary from excellent to unreliable to predict the value of soil property. Different pretreatment process following trial and error procedure should be performed in order to find the best correlations between the measured soil property and the spectra.The temporal and spatial soil variability maps of predicted soil property values were performed using the ArcGIS v.10.0 with inverse distance weighted (IDW) interpolation method. The map interpretation of soil variability with-in field was very helpful to study the correlation among the soil property and support the decision for farm management.

The whole weight of the building is very much influenced by the self- weight of the reinforced concrete. In order to reduce the amount of concrete and self-weight of slabs, normally preferred slabs are voided slabs or hollow slabs. Such slabs have inherent benefits including reduced weights, economical longer spans, reduced floor-to- floor heights etc. Cost reductions in roofs/ floors are achieved through the adoption of filling a part of concrete in tension zone with cheaper substitutes. Roof tiles are better substitutes; here the concrete consumption as well as reinforcement could be significantly controlled. In this paper a hollow roofing tile is used as a filler material so that portion of concrete below the neutral axis can be replaced by these materials. Flexural behaviour of the slab is conducted using the loading frame equipment. The test specimen consists of a solid slab as a reference slab, a hollow core slab with fully covered hollow roofing tile on the bottom region, and a hollow core slab with hollow roofing tile only on all the four edges. The diameters of the steel reinforcement used are 8mm and 6mm deformed bars. The slab thickness was 13 cm. The results showed that hollow core slab can reduce the weight as compared to the solid slab. Flexural strength of hollow core slab with hollow roofing tile only on all the four edges is having higher value than the hollow core slab with fully covered hollow roofing tile on the bottom region; whereas these are lower than the solid slab. The value of ultimate loading capacity of solid slab is greater than the hollow concrete slabs. However, the hollow slab satisfies the design criteria.

Hiding high utility sensitive association rule is a fundamental issue for protecting security knowledge from being uncovered while sharing information outside the gatherings. In any case, this issue has not been thought about attentively. This paper expects to propose a novel procedure for hiding high utility sensitive association rules in view of intersection lattice. The methodology incorporates two steps:(i) The exchanges containing the sensitive rule and having the minimum utility are chosen as casualty exchanges; (ii) The casualty things are indicated in view of a heuristic such that altering them causes minimal effect on a lattice of high exchange weighted utility itemsets. Depending on those means, the algorithm named HHUARL for hiding high utility sensitive association rules is proposed. The analysis demonstrates that symptoms caused by HHUARL algorithm are worthy.

Concurrent multipath scheduling algorithm enables efficient use bandwidth in wireless network. Multipath transport protocol provides use of multiple wireless network wi-fi, cellular network concurrently. While using bandwidth of available network channels the parameters like network path congestion, packet loss rate, etc. should have calculated accurately. Everyone wants video should be streamed smoothly for that only one network path is not capable. As mobile devices and laptops support more than one wireless network access so they can be used to stream video fast. In recent studies quality Driven multipath transport control protocol (ADMIT) uses the maximum bandwidth concurrently in wireless network. In this protocol the analytical model shows the communication between sender and receiver using forward error correction coding. The multipath protocols analyze the network properties to schedule the packets over available network paths. The sender predicts the next packet path by analyzing the previous packet delivered. The optimization strategy used to find efficient path by using the network constraints. Concurrent multipath scheduling algorithms are reduced end to end delay in the video encoding and decoding. The simulation shows the video quality required for real time video streaming is achieved by multipath scheduling algorithms. The distortion calculated is minimum shows in received frames by calculating average peak signal to noise ratio.

Structures may be required to improve the structural behaviour and repair of damaged structures to restore structural performance for economical reasons. Steel plates are one of the most common materials for strengthening of reinforced concrete beams; it is very effective for increasing the flexural and shear capacity of reinforced concrete beam. From various studies it was understood that web bonded steel plates affects the crack patterns of the beams significantly and the position of web bonded steel plates significantly influences the stiffness and flexural capacity of plated beams. The critical gap in research is to study the flexural capacity of RC beam with web bonded steel plates by varying the plate thickness and to find the effective thickness of steel plate based on flexural capacity and crack pattern and to study the flexural capacity and crack pattern of RC beam strengthened with web bonded steel plates having effective plate thickness by varying plate depth. This paper deals with an experimental program conducted on the flexural capacity of RC beam without strengthening and 5 RC beams strengthened with web- bonded continuous steel plates. The control specimen and the beam with web bonded steel plates of 4 mm thick, 3 mm thick and 1.6 mm thick were tested by using loading frame. The results are compared based on the parameters ultimate load, deflection, and load at first crack and the effective thickness of steel plates is found out and beams strengthened with web bonded steel plates of various widths are studied based on the same parameters. The test results confirmed the effectiveness of web bonded continuous steel plates for strengthening of RC beams. From the comparative study it is obtained that, the beam with web bonded steel plates having 4mm thickness and 80mm width shows higher strength, lower deflection and higher load at first crack as compared to other specimens.

The laminar and turbulent flow the density of fluid plays vital role in classification of flows. In present study an attempt made to verity the Reynolds number by varying the density of flowing fluid. A in this study fine filament of dye is introduced in to the flow of water through the glass tube where different types of flow are seen at its entrance. At low velocities the dye filament appeared as straight line through the length of the tube and parallel to its axis, characterizing laminar flow. As the velocity is increased the dye filament becomes wavy throughout indicating transition flow. On further increasing the velocity the filament breaks up and diffuses completely in the water in the glass tube indicating the turbulent flow.

Rainfall and runoff are main substantial constitute sources of water for storage and recharge of ground water in the water shed. Evaluation of availability of water is most essential by understanding the rainfall and runoff pattern. The surface water resources are available in the watershed from national highways and state highways. The present study is done form an area about 160km2 in national highway is the main catchment area of the basin and same considered for runoff model. Runoff keeps rivers and lakes full with water but also changes the landscape by the action of erosion. Only about 35% of the precipitation ends up in oceans and seas, other 65% is absorbed into soil and remaining is evaporate. Lake Sediment removal is usually undertaken to deepen a lake and increase its value to enhance irrigation practices and fishery etc.

Corrosion is one of the major drawbacks of the use of Steel as reinforcement in Concrete (RCC). The rate of Corrosion can be found by performing Rapid Chloride Penetration Test (RCPT) according to ASTM – C 1202. This test is conducted on a sample of Concrete of Cylindrical shape, of 50 mm height and 100 mm diameter, which is cured for 28 and 56 days. The chloride penetration value helps in determining the rate of corrosion of Concrete. In this project, we aim to reduce the chloride penetration value by addition of Steel mill scrap in Concrete. Four samples were prepared, namely, Control mix, 10 kg/cu.m addition, 20 kg/cu.m addition and 30 kg/cu.m addition of the Steel mill scrap. The Control mix was prepared to act as a benchmark for the Chloride Penetration value. The test was conducted, and the results showed a reduction in Chloride penetration value as the quantity of the Steel mill scrap was increased.

This paper studied about the mechanical properties of field demolished aggregate concrete. The demolished concrete from previous construction, after surface treatment is used as aggregate known as recycled aggregate. The present work is studied by replacing the recycled aggregate with natural coarse aggregate from 0% to 50% at every increment of 10% in M 30 grade of concrete. The recycled material obtained is used in the construction of pavements, gutters, curbs, retaining wall backfill, landscaping rock and erosion control. From the study, it is observed that the compressive strength and split tensile strength of natural aggregate with respect to recycled aggregate have a less variation from 0% to 50% replacement. Thus the recycled aggregate can be used effectively as a coarse material in new concrete.

Petroleum diesel consumption increases leads to depleting the diesel fuel and increasing the environmental pollution. One of the alternatives is producing a biodiesel to meet the energy demand. Corn oil methyl ester (COME) is produced by transesterification process and prepared the blends (B0, B20, B40, B60 B100) with diesel to compare the Engine performance and Emission characteristics with and without exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) at different loads. The result shows the brake thermal efficiency (BTE) and emissions of B20 is almost nearer to diesel. The BTE with EGR is higher than the BTE without EGR for all the blends. The BSFC and EGT with EGR is lower than values obtained without EGR for all the blends. Emissions of CO and HC of engine for all blends are slightly increased, while NOx emissions are found to get decreased with use of EGR. The better engine characteristics were obtained with use of EGR compare to without use of EGR.

The large amount of flue gases produced by cast iron foundries using Coke fired cupolas for melting, contains injurious elements like SO2, CO2, CO, H2S, NOx, SPM etc. which damages the environment and are dangerous to all living beings. The emissions of SO2, CO2, CO, H2S, suspended particles, dust and grit have not been found within the pollution control limit as set down by central pollution control board of India. Therefore all the foundries in Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ) have been ordered to be closed down by a recent order of the Honourable Supreme Court of India. It is not only the problem of India but is a global one. As per instructions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India the cleaner technology should be used instead of cupola furnace. A lot of breakthroughs have happened in deep neural networks over a period of time. Traditional gradient-based networks require a lot of data to train and learn. When new data is encountered, the models must inefficiently relearn their parameters to effectively learn the new information without any major interference. Neural Turing Machines (NTMs) which have augmented memory capacities, offer the ability to quickly learn and retrieve new information, and hence can potentially remove the disadvantages of conventional models. Here, we demonstrate the ability of a memory-augmented neural network to rapidly assimilate new data, and use this data to make accurate predictions after only a few samples(One-shot). We also introduce a new method for accessing an external memory that focuses on memory content(content-based addressing), unlike previous methods that additionally use memory location based focusing mechanisms. We have also compared accuracy and learning loss of the MANN (Memory Augmented Neural Networks) with LSTM (Long-Short Term Memory) to show which model is a better choice.

In this article, we illustrate how the security level of a human authentication system increases from traditional systems based on the use of passwords or badges to modern systems based on biometrics. We have moved a step forward by conceiving an authentication protocol based on the combined recognition of human face, voice and smartphone fingerprint. Thanks to image processing techniques, both the distinctive characteristics of the face, voice and of the device that captured the face image can be extracted from a single video frame and used for a triple check of user identity. The fast-technological development of smartphones, allows performing sophisticated operations on the device itself. In the edge computing perspective, the burden of biometric recognition and source camera identification can be moved on the end user side.

The main aim of this paper is to analyze the road accidents from Walaja tollgate to Poonamallee. Analysis shows that the distribution of road accidental deaths and injuries in India varies according to age, gender, month and time. Age group 30-59 years is the most vulnerable population group, though males face higher level of fatalities and injuries than their female counterparts. In general, while in many developed and developing countries including China, road safety situation is generally improving, India faces a worsening situation. Without increased efforts and new initiatives, the total number of road traffic deaths in India is likely to cross the mark of 250,000 by the year 2025. There is thus an urgent need to recognize the worsening situation in road deaths and injuries and to take appropriate action. With the support and cooperation of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Kanchipuram Division, we conducted detailed investigation of accidents occurring on the National Highway 4 over a 110 km stretch.The primary objective was to collect and analyze NH-4 based traffic crash data to begin to create a sound basis for decision making for improving safety on India�s roadways.A secondary objective was to establish a standardized methodology using economical tools for collecting and analyzing crash data, specific to Indian roads. The collected accident data was categorized first by single or multiple vehicle crash and next by accident type based on the first accident event. The data was then analysed identify accident (crash-type, location-time), vehicle (vehicle-type , pre-crash condition) , occupants and other contributing factors , and environmental factors associated with injury severity .Findings show that front-to-rear collisions, mainly involving trucks and buses,caused due to slowing down,stopping,breaking down or overtaking.

This paper aims to present the experimental studies on the performance and emission characteristics of Mahua oil methyl ester (MOME), blends and diesel as a fuel for a single-cylinder direct injection diesel engine. Experiments have been carried out to study the effects of performance characteristics like brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), brake thermal efficiency (BTE), and emissions such as hydrocarbon (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (Co2) oxides of nitrogen (NOx) in a diesel engine by varying number of injectors nozzle holes. Mahua oil methyl ester blends prepared are M20[18%biodiesel+2%DEE+80%diesel], M40[38%biodiesel+2%DEE+60%diesel], M60[58%biodiesel+2%DEE+40%diesel] and 100% biodiesel. Testing is carried out by varying number of holes of nozzle as 2 hole, 3 hole and 4 hole nozzle at constant engine speed 1500rpm. Increasing the number of nozzle holes improves the performance of diesel engine fueled with MOME in terms of increased BTE, reduced emissions like HC, CO, CO2. However, NOx emission increases with increased number of holes.

Aggregates are the important constituents in concrete. In India, annual outcome of Steel Slag is about 10 Million Tone . The utilization of waste materials from the industries has been continuously emphasized in the research work. The present work is to use steel Slag as partial replacement for coarse aggregate. The M35 concrete with steel slag partial replacement for coarse aggregate are examined in the present study. According to material properties studied are 7days and 28days compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile strength were found experimentally. The results were compared with conventional concrete property. The results showed that partially replacing about 0%, 15 % , 30 %, 45%, and 60% of steel slag aggregates by weight for natural aggregates From these results of the study we can say that as the percentage of steel slag as replacement is increased (0% to 45%) the strength of concrete increases. After 45% replacement of Coarse aggregate as steel slag slight decrease in strength is observe, but still it is higher than 0% replacement without any adverse effect on the strength of concrete.

The system is fully controlled by a microcontroller from the 8051 family. A matrix keypad is interfaced to the microcontroller to enter the password. The entered password is compared with the password stored in the EEPROM interfaced to the microcontroller of the 8051 family. If the password entered is correct,then only the line can be turned on/off. Activation / deactivation of the circuit breaker are indicated by a lamp (on/off) provided in the project.

The main objective of this project is to provide real time monitoring of different security emergency events and to provide location of distressed individuals through GPS mapping system using Google map. This project is achieved using ArduinoUno microcontroller which acts as the brain of the system where all instructions are carried out, Wi-Fi module which gives Wi-Fi access to the microcontroller and the security control centre, GPS module which gives location of push button when triggered by an individual in a threatening situation. Hence FFT and inverse fast fourier transform (IFFT) with efficient multiplication and with increased speed is used for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation and demodulation blocks. Bottom ash is used as an additive material for stabilizing the soil. Stabilizing the soil by adding Bottom ash improves the soil strength and reduces swell and shrink. The main aim of this project is to study the effect of bottom ash on expansive soil for road construction. The laboratory tests are carried to determine the index properties and engineering properties of soil sample. The soil samples are prepared with different proportions of bottom ash as 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%. This proportion was used for further tests such as Atterberg’s Limit test, Standard Proctor Compaction test (SPC), Unconfined Compressive Strength test (UCC), and California Bearing Ratio test (CBR). This project shows that bottom ash improves the soil strength.

High quality audio amplifiers should exhibit high power efficiency, while maintaining satisfying high fidelity to the human ear at the same time. Two sets of 180° out-of-phase triangular waves are used as carriers, and each set has its respectful offset voltage level with non-overlapping amplitude. By performing the double Fourier analysis, it can be found that the linearity can be enhanced and the distortion can be reduced with the proposed modulation. Experimental results shows that the proposed fully differential DLDPC PWM class-D audio amplifier feature a total harmonic distortion is lower than 0.01% with an output voltage swing of +or− 5V

Our research is not limited to find out placement possibility but we did multi-level analysis on student performance dataset which will predict that what level of interview process a student is likely to pass. For this we have applied Naïve Bayes and Improved Naïve Bayes which is integrated with relief feature selection technique to obtain the prediction. Data analysis was done using NetBeans and WEKA. For this our proposed technique gave better accuracy than existing naïve Bayes which was 84.7% and naïve Bayes gave 80.96% accuracy.

This paper presents the most economical and flexible solution to control and operate home appliances using Smart Plug devices. The Smart Plug is a power switch which functions via Wi-Fi connection. It consists a current sensor, two temperature sensors and an IR emitter. Users can plug devices into the Smart Plug to remotely switch power on/off, get information of device’s power consumption and ambient temperature, and simultaneouslycontrol the nearby devices using the integrated IR-emitter. There are two ways to access Smart Plug that is, either connecting it directly in Wi-Fi AdHoc mode or connecting it with a router in WiFi infrastructure mode and accessing online with IPconnectivity. The paper utilizes Restful based Web services in which the overall system architecture is Client/server model and the Web client use JavaScript and Ajax to transfer data. An Android-based Smartphone application employs standard operations such as Get and Post requests that return responses to communicate between the remote user and the Web server. In this paper, finite element software ANSYS is used for studying the temperature propagation in concrete exposed to elevated temperatures. An attempt will be done to study the impact of fire on reinforced concrete structural components considering a beam member of cross sectional dimensions 230mm × 600mm providing clear cover according to the specifications of fire safety building code. Based on these parametric studies, results including the effects of high temperature on properties of fiber reinforced concrete together with the strength, stiffness, thermal stress, thermal strains under load and heat flux will be obtained by performing the analysis.

In view of the huge number of user historical mobility records in social media, we aim to discover travel experiences to facilitate trip planning. When planning a trip, users always have specific preferences regarding their trips. Instead of restricting users to limited query options such as locations, activities, or times, we consider arbitrary text descriptions as keywords about personalized requirements. Moreover, a diverse and representative set of recommended travel routes is needed. Prior works have elaborated on mining and ranking existing routes from check-in data. To meet the need for automatic trip organization, we claim that more features of Places of Interest (POIs) should be extracted. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an efficient Keyword-aware Representative Travel Route framework that uses knowledge extraction from users’ historical mobility records and social interactions. Explicitly, we have designed a keyword extraction module to classify the POI-related tags, for effective matching with query keywords. We have further designed a route reconstruction algorithm to construct route candidates that fulfill the requirements. To provide befitting query results, we explore Representative Skyline concepts, that is, the Skyline routes which best describe the trade-offs among different POI features. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithms, we have conducted extensive experiments on real location-based social network datasets, and the experiment results show that our methods do indeed demonstrate good performance compared to state-of-the-art works.

To meet this need, we propose a system, namely, Path Planning by Caching (PPC), that aims to answer a new path planning query efficiently by caching and reusing historically queried paths (queried-paths in short). Unlike conventional cache-based path planning systems where a cached query is returned only when it matches completely with a new query, PPC leverages partially matched queried-paths in cache to answer part(s) of the new query. As a result, the server only needs to compute the unmatched path segments, thus significantly reducing the overall system workload.

This project IOT Garbage Management system is a very innovative system which will help to keep the cities clean. This system monitors the garbage bins and informs about the level of garbage collected in the garbage bins via a web page. For this the system uses ultrasonic sensors placed over the bins to detect the garbage level and compare it with the garbage bins depth. The system makes use of Arduino family microcontroller to control every process and Wi-Fi modem for sending data to server. Dustbins are provided with low cost embedded device which helps in tracking the level of the garbage bins and an unique ID will be provided for every dustbin so that it is easy to identify which garbage bin is full. When the level reaches the threshold limit, the device will transmit the level along with the unique ID provided. These details can be accessed by the concern authorities from their place with the help of Internet and an immediate action can be made to clean the dustbins.

The main objective of this paper is to achieve a homogeneous removal of formation damage through the entire pay zone of one of the Iraqi oil fields in order to increase well productivity index.The most common acid used in matrix acidizing of carbonate rocks (limestone or dolomite rock) is Hydrochloric acid (HCl); however, organic acids are preferably consumed in deep and high temperature wells due to high cost and uncontrolled corrosion problems with (HCl) acid. Various types of additives are added to the acid such as corrosion inhibitors, clay stabilizer, iron control agents and suspending agents.During the injection, the acid will flow into the least resistant (higher permeability) intervals in the formation due to heterogeneity or non-uniform damage in the formation and this prevents the damaged or low permeable sections from being stimulated. For achieving uniform acid treatment and diverting acid to the damaged zone, acid can be diverted mechanically or chemically. Each diversion technique has right conditions limitations to be applied depending on the formation situation.The name of the field is not mentioned in this work due to the confidentiality of publication and the well is named as Koya. The results of the free vibration analysis like time period, frequency, mode shape and modal mass participating ratios of the framed structure were found out. From modal analysis the first mode time period of fixed base building is found to be 0.56 sec whereas the first mode period of isolated building is found to be 3.11s (approximately 6 times the fixed-base period!). This value is away from the dominant spectral period range of design earthquake. Forced vibration analysis (non-linear time history analysis) was done to determine the response of framed structures and to find out the vibration control efficiency of framed structures using lead rubber bearing. Isolation bearings in this study are modelled by a bilinear model. Under favourable conditions, the isolation system reduces the interstorey drift in the superstructure by a factor of at least two and sometimes by a factor of at least five. Acceleration responses are also reduced in the structure by an amount of 55-75% although the amount of reduction depends upon the force deflection characteristic of the isolators. A better performance of the isolated structure with respect to the fixed base structure is also observed in floor displacements, base shear (75-85% reduction), floor acceleration relative to the ground(less acceleration imparted on each floor and their magnitude is approximately same in each floor), roof displacement. Introduction of horizontal flexibility at the base helps in proper energy dissipation at the base level thus reducing the seismic demand of the super structure to be considered during design

This approach significantly saves time and cost and is able not only to determine the suitable locations, but also to determine the best region for construction of rainwater harvesting structures.

We do not summarize the reviews by selecting a subset or rewrite some of the original sentences from the reviews to get the main points as in the classic text summarization. Our task is performed in following steps: (1) mining product features that have been commented on by customers; (2) discovering the opinion sentences in each review and deciding whether each opinion sentence is positive or negative; (3) summarizing the results. This paper proposes CRM strategic techniques to perform these tasks. The architecture of retention flip-flop depends on VDD,IO scheme, in which VDD,core and VDD,IO are two different voltages. VDD,IO is higher than the VDD,core. The level up conversion from VDD,core to VDD,IO is achieved by NMOS pass transistor level conversion scheme, which is based on an always low signal transmission technique. The proposed retention flip-flop reduces the standby leakage compared to LECTOR based retention flip-flop, with small increase in area. The proposed retention flip-flop was designed in 130nm technology with 1.2V and 2.0V for core latch and retention latch respectively. The operating frequency is 20MHz, and the standby power is 255.8619pW.

Composite materials have been used extensively to build truss structures owing to their remarkable properties. Composite truss structures have attracted tremendous research interests due to their superior strength and performances, and have been utilized in the construction of civil structures. Compared to other structural materials, such as concrete, structural timber composite steel has a considerably higher variability of the strength properties both within and between members. The variability within a timber member is not considered in engineering design, where each member is treated under the assumption that it is homogeneous, i.e. the strength is assumed to have a constant low value along the member. The advantage of the low probability that high stresses coincide with low strengths is however not accounted for and may give an extra safety margin. The reliability of structural systems has to be verified against failure caused by extreme effects, such as fire and seismic effects. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, there is a lack of studies in the literature on comprehensive reliability calculation of complex structural systems; the available studies mainly deal with the reliability calculation of simple, separated elements. This paper compares and provides a study of various levels of research work done in computational structural analysis. The crust of our review focuses on the analysis of truss, complex or simple because truss is the most widely used and fundamental building block of any structure.

In this paper, local maximum edge binary patterns (LMEBP) feature extractor is proposed for medical image segmentation. The local region of image is represented by LMEBP, which are evaluated by taking into consideration the magnitude of local difference between the center pixel and its neighbors. First, image split in to sub blocks and LMEBP features are extracted from each sub block. Once the image has been split into blocks of roughly homogeneous texture, we apply an agglomerative procedure to merge similar adjacent regions until one of the two stopping criteria is satis1ed. At each stage we merge the pair of adjacent regions which have the largest merger importance (MI) value. Based on MI the regions are merged and then form the segmented regions for medical image segmentation application. Experimental results are tested on benchmark MRI database for medical image segmentation application. Results after being investigated, proposed method shows a significant improvement for segmentation of images.

The number of chick produced through natural incubation is very low due to irregular environmental parameters like temperature, humidity, etc and the death of hen can lead to the total collapse of this incubation process. A solar powered automated incubator system was designed to operate in place where there are no source of electricity (in very remote areas). The solar energy is used in two forms; to provide solar electric energy and also to provide solar heat energy. The solar reflector was used captured heat energy during the day and to supply this regulated heat at temperature band of 36-37°C to the incubator via a valve controlled by a PIC18f4550 microcontroller, while the solar PV was used to charge the battery and to supply power to the system during the day. At night or poor weather when battery is used to power the system, if the temperature goes below 36°C an electric heater will be used to increase the temperature band to 36-37°C and the heat of the heater will be decrease if temperature is getting greater than 37°C. The turning of the eggs is done twelve times daily and is achieved by the use of stepper motor which drives the egg tray either in clockwise or counter clockwise direction. India is not self-sufficient in petroleum and has to import about two third of its requirements to introduce one of the solutions to the current oil crisis and toward off any future energy and economic crunch is to explore the feasibility of substitution of diesel with an alternative fuel which can be produced in the country on a massive scale to commercial utilization. B20 (20% of biodiesel blended with 80% of conventional diesel) is a very popular biodiesel blend that can be used directly in diesel engines without any major engine modification. Biodiesel blends, in general, reduce the brake thermal efficiency slightly and lower PM, HC, COx emissions as compared to conventional diesel fuel.the fuel consumption and the emission characteristic of a twin cylinder diesel engine that are using Mango seed oil blended with Ethanol & compared to usage of ordinary diesel that are available in the market. This paper describes the setups and the procedures for the experiment which is to analyse the emission characteristics and fuel consumption of diesel engine due to usage of the both fuels.Diesel engine is able to run with Mango seed oil blended with Ethanol but the engine needs to run by using diesel fuel first, then followed by Ethanol and finished with diesel fuel as the last fuel usage before the engine turned off. The performance of the engine using Mango seed oil blended with ethanol as fuel compared to the performance of engine with diesel fuel.

Now-a-days, Apps based on Mobile Network Technology that are known as Mobile network Apps are very popular among all kinds of users. But, sufficient knowledge of users about the Apps is questionable. Many users don’t know which application is useful for their smart phone and which is not and which apps exploit their ignorance etc. Exploiting the unawareness / ignorance of users, some fraudulent activities happened through mobile applications. In this situation, App designers use shady means, such as raise the App values or App ratings to commit fraud. For instance, Apple took action against App designers, who submitted misrepresentation in the Apple’s App Store. App developers resolve to some fake ranks and comments to intentionally help their Apps for ranking on an App store. In this thesis, we propose that these fraudulent activities can be identified, controlled and conquered by an innovative method with the investigation of three types of evidences, i.e., ranking based evidences, rating based evidences, review based evidences and their historical records. These three types of evidences are used to create Evidence Aggregation Certificate. We evaluate the proposed system with real world App data collected from the iOS App store over a span of time. In this experiment, we validate the effectiveness of the proposed system and show the scalability of the detection algorithm as well as some regularity of ranking fraud activities.

The aim of this study is to identify the formation of zirconium oxide films by reactive sputtering of chromium target using oxygen and nitrogen as reactive gases along with helium that was used as an inert gas. Zirconium oxide thin films were deposited on glass and silicon substrates by using RF magnetron sputtering process and influence of working pressure was investigated. The structural properties of thin film were characterized by using X-ray diffractometer (XRD). Surface energy and contact angle were explored by using contact angle measuring system. Surface energy and contact angle of thin films increased with increasing pressure from 1.5 to 4.5 Pa and revealed transformation from hydrophilic to hydrophobic behavior of zirconium oxide thin films.

The floating portable micro-hydro will have other several advantages. That is, ability to adjust to the water surface, enabled to move around, easy installation, and it is maintainable. We expected for common people could be motivated to develop maintainable simple micro-hydro.
