Most common defects are flicker, dirt, dust and line scratches.Here we consider line scratch detection.Line scratches appear as thin bright or dark line.This line are usually straight and vertical.The restoration of old videos is based on primary interest because of great quantity of old film records. But manual digital restoration of videos is time consuming process. To detect the scratch in films or video is very difficult task because of the various characteristics of the detected defects. There are main problems created during line scratch detection like sensitivity to noise and texture or some time wrong detection due to thin structure related to scene. In this method, robust and automatic algorithm for frame scratch detection in videos and an temporal algorithm for filtering wrong detection is applied. Hence in this, there is relax some of the techniques used for detection which causes more number of scratches are detected. In this way effectiveness and lack of some external parameters are acquire by combining of a contrario methodology as well as local statistical estimation. In this way ,scratch detection in textures is reduced fast.The filtering algorithm eliminates wrong detection due to vertical structure by exploiting the coherence of motion in videos.

Multilevel inverters have become more popular over the years in electric high power application with the promise of less disturbances and the possibility to function at lower switching frequencies than ordinary two-level inverters. This paper presents information about several multilevel inverter topologies, such as the Neutral-Point Clamped Inverter and the Cascaded Multi cell Inverter. These multilevel inverters will also be compared with two-level inverters in simulations to investigate the advantages of using multilevel inverters. Modulation strategies, component comparison and solutions to the multilevel voltage source balancing problem will also be presented in this work

Digital watermarking is used for data authentication and copyright protection of digital media files. Original host files required to recover the watermark operation in non-blind watermark system, which increases system resources overhead. It also doubles memory capacity and communication band-width. This system uses a robust video multiple watermarking technique which is based on image interlacing. In this system, a watermark embedding/extracting is done by using three-level discrete wavelet transform (DWT), Arnold transform is used as a watermark encryption/ decryption method, and gray image, color image, and video are used as watermarks. Geometric, noising, format compression, and image processing attacks are used to test this system. This research paper presents a new technique for the synthesis of complex planar mechanisms. The author calls this technique ‘nomogram-based synthesis’ since it depends on a kinematic nomogram facilitating the synthesis of complex planar mechanisms without need to complex optimization procedures. A procedure of five steps is presented to synthesize the mechanism under study for time ratio up to 4.3, normalized stroke up to 3.33. The nomogram based synthesis can maintain transmission angle to be within a range from 94 to 120 degrees indicating the effectiveness of the synthesis approach presented.

Generally the prediction of behaviour of material at high temperature is very difficult. During design of components which are subjected to or working at high temperature must consider the testing at elevated temperature. Hot tensile testing (HTT) is the method of tensile testing of material at elevated temperature. The materials used for automotive or aerospace applications are mostly subject to cyclic loading, high temperature and sometimes involve high frequency vibrations. High strength aluminium alloys are one class of materials that are widely used in the automotive and aerospace industries .In this work I test A413 material for HTT at different temperature and strain rate, which can be used for piston. Cloud computing is widely considered as potentially the next dominant technology in IT industry. It offers basic system maintenance and scalable source management with Virtual Machines (VMs). As a essential technology of cloud computing, VM has been a searing research issue in recent years. The high overhead of virtualization has been well address by hardware expansion in CPU industry, and by software realization improvement in hypervisors themselves. However, the high order on VM image storage remains a difficult problem. Existing systems have made efforts to decrease VM image storage consumption by means of deduplication inside a storage area network system. Nevertheless, storage area network cannot assure the increasing demand of large-scale VM hosting for cloud computing because of its cost limitation. In this project, we propose SILO, improved deduplication file system that has been particularly designed for major VM deployment. Its design provide fast VM deployment with similarity and locality based fingerprint index for data transfer and low storage consumption by means of deduplication on VM images. And implement heart beat protocol in Meta Data Server (MDS) to recover the data from data server. It also provides a comprehensive set of storage features including backup server for VM images, on-demand attractive through a network, and caching through local disks by copy-on-read techniques. In the agricultural domain, the main challenge is to present the new information and research to the farmers so that they can leverage the power of ICT to improve their agricultural practices and there by the production.An agro advisory system helps to bridge the gap between farmers and the agriculture domain experts.The system consists of three basic component: Ontology, Web Services, and Mobile Application Development.The ontology maintains domain knowledge required for answering farmer queries. The ontology contains information regarding crop, soil, cultivation process, disease, pest, and other relevant information.Huge amount of agriculture related data like weather data,soil health records, cropping pattern, location specific crop disease and pest are collected from different sources like services, remote satellites, and network of sensors.
