Scheduling is one of the most important fundamental concepts in operating systems. Round Robin (RR) scheduling is one of the most widely used algorithms in multitasking and real time environments [1]. In multitasks environments, it is necessary to select the process among a set of processes. The CPU is allocated to the selected process and controlled by the scheduling algorithm. Each scheduling algorithm has its own needs, advantages and disadvantages. In this paper we have studied RR and focused on Dynamic Round Robin algorithm (DRR) and its impact on the processes, which grow in its burst time in a non-deterministic way with different sets of phenomenon and compared the results.

A Computer database is a collection of logically related data that is stored in a computer system,so that a computer program or person using a query language can use it to answer queries. An operational database (OLTP) contains up-to-date, modifiable application specific data. A data warehouse (OLAP) is a subject-oriented, integrated, time-variant and non-volatile collection of data used to make business decisions. Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) allows storing large amount of data on a cloud of machines. In this paper, we surveyed the literature related to operational databases, data warehouse and hadoop technology.

The objective of this research work is to assign optimal parameters for the passive suspension of a horizontal washing machine and to assign proper value for the drum mass in order to increase the efficiency of the isolators and reduce the vibration velocity of the drum. The MATLAB optimization toolbox is used to maximize the isolation efficiency subjected to parameters constraints and a functional constraint which is the vibration velocity of the drum. The spinning speed is used as input variable to help the washing machine designer to assign a proper value for the spinning speed of his machine. The presented approach is capable of increasing the isolation efficiency to more than 97 % and reduce the drum vibration velocity to less than 14.8 mm/s RMS

A mediator person is required for communication between deaf person and a second person. But a mediator should know the sign language used by deaf person. But this is also not possible always since there are multiple sign languages for multiple languages. It is difficult for a deaf person to understand what a second person speaks. And therefore deaf person should keep track of lip movements of second person in order to know what he is speaking. But the lip movements do not give proper efficiency and accuracy since the facial expressions and speech might not match. To overcome the above problems we have proposed a system, an Android Application for recognizing sign language using hand gesture with the facility for user to define and upload their own sign language into the system. The features of this system are the real time conversion of gesture to text and speech. For two-way communication between deaf person and second person, the speech of second person is converted into text. The processing steps include: gesture extraction, gesture matching and conversion of text to speech and vice-versa. The system is not only useful for deaf community but can also be used by common people who migrate to different regions and do not know local language.

VANET is a wireless communication between vehicles to vehicles and RSU (vehicles to road side units). It is different from MANET, so the challenges of VANET are also different from MANET. It has many challenges like safety, traffic and user application based challenges which require some particular design. The vehicular mobility model plays a vital role in examining different challenges. There are different models for different purposes and for getting better results we have to apply the correct model which is suitable for the particular situation. In this paper, a proper classification is done between different vehicular mobility models with respect to their types, sub types, usage (interaction level), evaluating purpose and example of each model is also provided

To develop an Application to visualize the key board of computer with the concept of image processing. The virtual keyboard should be accessible and functioning. The keyboard must give input to computer. With the help of camera, image of keyboard will be fetched. The typing will be captured by camera, as we type on cardboard simply drawn on paper. Camera will capture finger movement while typing. So basically this is giving the virtual keyboard. As the technology advances, more and more systems are introduced which will look after the users comfort. Few years before hard switches were used as keys. Traditional QWERTY keyboards are bulky and offer very little in terms of enhancements. Now-a-days soft touch keypads are much popular in the market. These keypads give an elegant look and a better feel. Currently keyboards are static and their interactivity and usability would increase if they were made dynamic and adaptable. Various on-screen virtual keyboards are available but it is difficult to accommodate full sized keyboard on the screen as it creates hindrance to see the documents being typed. Virtual Keyboard has no physical appearance. Although other forms of Virtual Keyboards exist; they provide solutions using specialized devices such as 3D cameras. Due to this, a practical implementation of such keyboards is not feasible. The Virtual Keyboard that we propose uses only a standard web camera, with no additional hardware. Thus we see that the new technology always has more Benefits and is more userfriendly.
