Safety culture has been a decisive factor for global organizations. Cultural approach to safety and health in recent decades has been to identify and model the culture from an explanatory paradigm. Purpose of the study was to analyze cultural dimensions on occupational safety and health of workers in a pre-pharmaceutical enterprise through cultural consensus theory, with a qualitative design. 40 workers were recruited into two groups (partners and employees) and 399 codes were built in six families per group. Three cultural dimensions (health, safety and targets) were identified in both groups but with a much more obvious cultural consensus in partners than in employees (CC=0.623 and 0.53, respectively).

This paper aimed to know the level of resilience from a sample of university students in a public institution of education in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. In addition to that, the relationship and difference between resilience and the variables of gender, age and socioeconomic status were analyzed. For this research, it was used the Resilience Scale developed by Wagnild and Young (1993) in the version translated and adapted to Spanish by Heilemann, Kury and Lee (2003), which consists of 25 reagents in the Likert scaling. This was used to measure the variable of interest. The results show high levels of resilience in university students and there were no significant differences between the career, sex and age variables. It was concluded that high resilience is a very generalized characteristic in the majority of college students. Finally, further research with other sample sizes and other careers is highly recommended. Likewise, the works, not included in this study, that relate resilience to other psychosocial variables are recommended as well.

This research was conducted at an accredited university in the city of Barranquilla, from a sample of about 90 students, out of a total population of 1143 students of their Business Administration program. The main objective is to reveal the latent variables that show consumer behavior on students and the development of a model for service measurement.This article is the result of an investigation, presenting empirical results through the use of a quantitative technique method and inferential statistics such as factor analysis and clustering. The results allowed to know through the dimensions of the Servqual scale, what students require, thus recognizing two groups. It is proposed for application on the consumer psychology when being served, the redesign of the SERVQUAL survey, through a survey Likert, running statistical data processors like Statgraphics and SSPS for the analysis of information.

This article is the result of research and its main work objective is to determine the incidence of the factors associated with the development of reading comprehension for ninth grade students of School District Jesús Maestro Fe y Alegría of Barranquilla. Based on the fact that reading comprehension is present in life as a source of understanding and pleasure, because when learners read, they are generally motivated to think and respond with answers; this research arises because teachers in the classroom identify those students that have difficulties in the reading process, which in turn may be associated with academic, cultural and personal factors that significantly affect the teaching-learning process.The design is of a mixed nature (qualitative - quantitative) and the techniques of data collection were made through interviews and surveys with closed and open questions. The results proved that 50 % of students have the ability to understand what they read, but from the familiar context does not accompany the process and from the school point of view no favorable environments encourage reading. This of course is evident in school performance thereof. Faced with this situation the institution must manage educational strategies to promote reading processes in the areas of knowledge, thus creating enough spaces for the development of integrated reading and understanding.

This article aims to introduce the reader to the analysis of the main theoretical aspects of Psychoeducation, as well as providing psychoeducational intervention research results that demonstrate the effectiveness of this therapeutic procedure in women survivors of breast cancer. An analysis of the historical journey is performed by different contexts related to Psychoeducation, mainly in the care of cancer patients and especially in women survivors of breast cancer. All this is done from the technical, scientific and methodological perspective of science, as it is considered to psychology as a scientific discipline whose conclusions are endorsed by a large and renowned scientific development.

This article approaches the creation of a concept of observatory by describing the following five categories: Purpose, Focalization, Topics, Problems and Methods. The results of the documentary review are shown according to the topic of observatory and social observatory obtained through the search and analysis of the documents addressed from those aforementioned categories. The ATLAS software was used as the main working tool for qualitative data analysis, and for the designed thematic matrix for research articles.

In order to identify the differences of psychological characteristics related to performance, in relation to team sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball and futsal) and gender, a non-experimental study was realized with a non-probabilistic sample of 205 athletes (87 women, 42.4 % - 118 men, 57.6 %) of Quindio, Colombia. The questionnaire for Psychological Characteristics related to the Sports Performance (CPRD) was used. The results of the overall scores showed significant differences in all sports; equally, differences in the team cohesion between the genders were observed. In the analysis of sport modality, differences between soccer, volleyball and futsal were found. These results suggest that the psychological intervention programs should be appropriated to the gender, the training demands and competition in different sports.

Given that social support is provided in face-to-face communications and ICT mediated communication, this article discusses the types of social support from both communication models in a group of college students. The information was collected with Assis scale. The material and emotional support is mainly given by the face-to-face communication, suggesting that is the predominant form, both men and women (60.1%) for the provision of social support. However, the informational support is more received by mediated communication ICT, demonstrating its high level of social penetration and its impact on ways of interacting. The existence of a relationship between emotional support and sex was established, being higher in women. Similarly between its provision and age, being higher in younger people and, finally, although was expected to find a relationship between age and modes of communication, this was not established. For university students both communication models are complementary and facilitate the provision of support holistically, in a continuum.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the development of the hypothesis as a tool of scientific thinking, in learning contexts, among children between the ages of 4 and 8, from the educational levels of pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, transition, first and second grade. The sample was 44 children. A quasi-experimental design was used: pre-test, post-test with control group. During the pre-test, the initial state of the subjects was established regarding the level of development of their hypothesis. A qualitative analysis was performed on the production, formulation, reasoning, performances and arguments that make children when developing their hypothesis. The Wilcoxon ranges test was used to compare changes in the development of the hypothesis between the pre-test and post-test, obtaining a statistical significance of p≤0.001 regarding the objective and the research hypothesis. This article presents the results of the research: Meanings of Social Integration Process in Young Ex-offenders in the city of Cali, specifically the analysis and discussion of results from the experience offered by young people who have graduated from a custodial sentence from a reeducational center in the city of Cali. The process of social integration was characterized starting from three specific areas: support networks, academic training and work. Thus, a qualitative analysis was performed from conducting semi-structured interviews, retaking some conceptual references addressed primarily from the development of the concept of meaning and subjective meaning.

This paper aims to provide a discussion on the topic homomaternal family and school. To this end, a qualitative research study was performed through narrative interviews which were conducted with four pedagogical supervisors from four schools located in the south of Brazil. After signing the informed consent, the interviews were recorded and transcribed, subjected to discourse analysis from the perspective of feminist studies of gender and Socio-Historical Social Psychology. This essay focuses on determine what is the discourse of neuroscience to approach the teach- ing of finance, teaching strategies and teachability applied to finance and correspondence with the practice and teaching models. Learning theory to substantiate the educational practices of teachers in teachability, evaluating, articulating and confronting the educational foundations for teachers who possess human development taking into account the context were identified. The importance of the incorporation of science and technology in the transformation of future pedagogies and teaching expertise is highlighted. The contribution of neuroscience to achieve excellence in education with interdisciplinary work to make education support the functioning of brain research in the classroom as normal practice of teaching. New and novel learning strategies are incorporated considering the guidance given by the theory of Ned Herrmann. Is evaluated, executed and planned according to the teaching of intelligence and the results of neuroscience re- search that revealed that in the brain combines the thinking, feeling and action proposals. It is as clear that the contexts involve certain teaching strategies that must be contextualized knowledge with emphasis on reality social utility and contextualization of knowledge.
