Purpose: The impact of entrepreneurship education given to entrepreneur candidates has been examined within the framework of Dunning-Kruger Syndrome. Methodology: The research includes 3 years of pre-test/ post-test data from 118 entrepreneur candidates. Findings: Perceived entrepreneurial self-efficacy perceptions, perceived desirability and perceived feasibility levels were analyzed before and after the program and the change in the initial and secondary levels was explained by DunningKruger syndrome. Practical Implications: Investigating the long-term effects of entrepreneurship education, tracking entrepreneurs in a more systematic way and creating additional methods to increase the self-confidence of entrepreneur candidates have been proposed. Originality: The original aspect of the research; is to clarify the gap between candidates’ prior and initial entrepreneurial intentions scores via Dunning-Kruger Syndrome.

Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to determine the main factors that affect the success of University-Industry Collaborations and to compare their effects in order to increase the innovation performance of the businesses. Methodology: In order to examine the effects of University-Industry Collaboration on the innovation performance of the businesses, in-depth interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. Findings: With the University-Industry Collaboration, the project density of the businesses, the number of new products and the areas in which they gain expertise are increasing and this can increase the innovation performance of the businesses. Achieving this success is related to the approach of senior management to collaborations in businesses. Practical Implications: It has been observed that a participative senior management approach is effective in the success of collaboration projects. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the top management approach as a preliminary criterion for the success of the collaborations. In addition, it is recommended that more research is carried out on the changing management concept and organizational culture of the businesses with the cooperation process. Originality: Comparing the companies that have successfully cooperated with the companies that have not achieved enough success enabled the factors that affect the success of the collaboration to be evaluated from a different perspective.

Purpose: Innovation is an indispensable element of efficiency, profitability, competitiveness and sustainability. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the activities of innovative enterprises on a sectoral basis. Methodology: An integrated Multi-Criteria Decision Making Approach is used. Criterion weights are calculated with the Entropy method and MABAC method is preferred for evaluating the activities of the sectors within the scope of innovation. Findings: It is determined that the most important criterion in evaluating innovation activities is the innovation of goods, which is included in the product innovation criteria. The least important one is the criterion of business responsibility, decision making or organizing human resources management, which is included in the business process innovation criteria. The results of the analysis show that the leading sector in terms of innovative activities is the wholesale trade sector. Manufacturing industry and industry sectors stand out in the second and third places in the ranking. It is also determined that the least innovation activity is carried out in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector in the relevant period. Practical Implications: The causes of these deficiencies in sectors that are found to be weak in terms of innovation can be examined and improvement suggestions can be developed. Originality: This study provides an important contribution to the literature as it is the first study based on the methodology based on the updates made in the Oslo Guide in 2018 in the evaluation of innovative activities. This new methodology has a feature that focuses more on how innovation activities are performed and re-classify innovation types.
