During the special pedagogical work is going on the
development of the semantic aspect of words in speech of the
children of a preschool age. Understanding and using in speech
activity of the lexical units and semantic relationships are formed
on the basis of elementary understanding by children of the place
of words in the lexical system of the native language. For this
purpose, the educator shows the children that every object, its
quality and action has its name; the new units are introduced in
the lexical-semantic system in certain communicative situations.
This takes into account the individual characteristics of each
child’s vocabulary. Special work on the semantics of word in
future will have a signifi cant impact on both the development of
all aspects of child’s speech (lexical, phonological, grammatical),
and the process of formation of coherent speech in preschooler.
