The article considers novel digital “barcoding” methods and techniques for identification and decoding of different analog neuroelectrophysiological information from old printed registrigrams, including rasters, cross-correlogramms, PC-analysis results (Principal Components Analysis) and PSTH. It is obvious, that the basic principle of laser-based barcode reading and real time analysis using CMOS and CCD sensors may be realized not only for linear barcodes, but also for PDF417 or MicroPDF417, Datamatrix, Codablock, stacked barcodes, POSTNET codes, EAN, UPC, Code128 et cetera.

This article is devoted to the problem of pediatric hearing impairment, the development of structures necessary for the early detection of hearing impairment in children of preschool age. It discusses the features of audiological diagnosis in the framework of auditory screening. The modern methods of diagnostics used depend on the age of child, his readiness and ability to follow the instructions of doctors. The article presents data on the implementation of such programs in foreign countries in recent years, as well as recommendations for improving the hearing services and hearing and speech rehabilitation in Uzbekistan. In order to assist such children with hearing and speech disorders, further activities are needed, which aim at the overall development of the child, improving its prospects in the education system and later in employment.

The article considers the role of modern technologies in medical care. Building on research papers, the authors analyze the growth of qualified medical care and outline the reasons for the use of technologies in medical institutions. The review of scientific articles about the impact of informatization and computerization in the healthcare sector helped to determine the targets for further development of medical technologies in the future. The creation and implementation of intelligent health monitoring systems in everyday life record the functional parameters of the patient and transmit them to the doctor, and likewise ensure the prevention of dangerous diseases. Despite the enormous researchers' controversy about the positive and negative effects of modern technologies, they permanently refine and improve the quality of medical services. The main "painful point" of increasing the technological effectiveness of the healthcare sector in Russia and abroad is the inconsistency between modern technologies and existing information systems. The unwillingness of market participants and the development features of the health care system can be an obstacle to the implementation of medical technologies in the Russian healthcare system. In general, the Russian market of medical services using modern technologies tends to grow, as administrative structures begin the process of legalization of medical technologies of different directions.

Functional parameters of mitochondria, such as cyclosporine sensitive megapore (mPTP), ATP-dependent K + channel (mitoKATP), as well as inhibition of free-radical membrane oxidation under the conditions of normoxia play an important role in the functioning of mitochondria, and the cell as a whole. Disruption of the normal functioning of these parameters occurs in various pathological conditions. Thus, to study the effect of a new polyphenol compound 1,4,6 tri-O-galloyl-2,3-valoneyl-β-D-glucose, as an object of adjusting the functions of mitochondria in pathological conditions, in this paper we investigated the effect of this compound on ATP -dependent K + channel and on cyclosporic sensitive time (mitochondrial permeability transition pore) in mitochondria from rat liver. Also, the study of the antioxidant activity of 1,4,6 tri-O-galloyl-2,3-valoneyl-β-D-glucose showed that this compound has a high antioxidant activity in Fe2 ++ ascorbate-induced mitochondrial swelling.

The aim of the present study was to determine mechanism of the inotropic effect of (–)–epigallocatechin 3–O–gallate (EGCG) in the rat myocardium. EGCG was isolated from seeds grapes (Vitis vinifera L.). Isometric tension forces of preparations of isolated papillary muscle were recorded using a force transducer (Type F30/Model D–79232; Hugo Sachs Elektronik, Germany). EGCG (15–100 µmol.L–1) showed dose–dependent a positive inotropic effects in rat papillary muscle contractility. The condition where the maximal effected concentration (150 µmol.L–1) of EGCG, the isometric developed force of papillary muscle preparation was decreased from 67,5±6,2 % in comparison with the control group (p<0,05; n=3–4). In these conditions, the EC50 value (the values of concentration for 50 % of the maximal effect) EGCG was 22,39 µmol.L–1 or pD2 (–logEC50)=4,652. In the experiments lead by means of specifical experimental technique of a mechanical stretching of myocardium showed, that EGCG (150 µmol.L–1) was increased amplitudes II phase (SFR, slow force response) from 33,7±4,9 % in comparison with the control group. Pretreatment with amiloride hydrochlorid (1 mmol.L–1), a nonselective inhibitor of NHE–1, attenuated the positive inotropic effect of EGCG in the isolated rat papillary muscles. In conclusion, the present study demonstrates that, the positive inotropic effect of EGCG (15–150 µmol.L–1) in isometrically contracting papillary muscles seems to be mediated by NHE–1 [Nа+]in NCX1 [Са2+]in pathway. These data may serve as a basis for further detailed pharmacological mechanism of action of this compound.

Results of microbiological investigation of catarrhal and ulcerous gingivitis on the background of treatment with Unimag are presented in the work. Preparation Unimag is a stable suspension of highly-dispersed magnetic particles. Unimag is magnetic-sensitive, X-ray contrast, bactericidal substance; it is characterized by ability to increase functional activity of phagocytes, absorption of various bio-macromolecules, and high penetration ability in tissues. Studies have revealed that treatment with Unimag of the patients with catarrhal and ulcerous gingivitis, rapidly normalizes quantity of microbes in the oral cavity, substituting the gram-negative pathogenic flora for the gram-positive microorganisms in the oral cavity. Unimag increases sensitivity of pathogenic flora towards the anti-bacterial preparations. All the above-mentioned is significant for efficient impact on damaging factors during inflammation.

American physician Philip Hench, who first used glucocorticosteroids (GCS) to treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis, underwent a revolution in medicine and was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1950 for his work. Since then almost all have become known about the GCS. Doctors working with the GCS often respond about such therapy as walking on the razor's edge. Alas, there are clinical situations when it is impossible to avoid high doses of these drugs, in other cases there are always trade-offs. The appointment of GCS should be preceded by an in-depth analysis of the need and justification of the choice of such therapy, because sometimes the severity of side effects and complications after treatment with GCS exceeds the severity of the initial disease. In this article, we present our own clinical observation of a patient with iatrogenic Itsenko-Cushing syndrome, which resulted from a long illicit therapy with prednisolone.

There were studied immunological parameters in patients with chronic viral hepatitis B (CVHB) and it was evaluated the effectiveness of flavonoids and phospholipid preparation. There was a decrease in CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ - of lymphocytes, CD4/CD8, CD16+- of cells. The content of CD95 + and TNF-α was significantly increased at all degrees of activity of the cytological process. It was established an increase of the concentration of all types of immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM) in children. It was established tendency of normalization of the studied parameters in children taking flavonoids, but the level of TNF-α remains high for all therapeutic approaches.

A simplified theory of the optical signal registration using lab-on-a-chip with CMOS/CCD detectors is described. The difference between the contact active and passive chips with optically different possible registration schemes is outlined. For passive chips a possibility of their introduction into a sandwich-like structure with photoelectronic multipliers is also considered (a design of a so-called lab-on-a-PEM similar to the earlier proposed lab-on-a-tube technique where it is possible to integrate the glass surface of the vacuum tube with a microfluidic chip. It is also indicated the possibility of a multiparametric contrastimetry on a chip with a system converting arbitrary physical signals to an optical one. This technique allows to measure contrast, gradient and colocalization of the primary variables (converted signal) distribution in 2D mode with spatial resolution. Either a photoinjection or a photoemission method of estimation of the parameters related to the primary analytical signal for PEM-combined labs-on-a-chip is also proposed. For the simplest “boundary calibration” of the optical CMOS-/CCD-based chip it is suggested to use either white or black balance/level, which after recalculation within a single COBAC system can be applied for estimation of the primary non-optical signal parameters together with contrastimetry. Also an “energy calibration” method is described combining calibration with the photocell and a thermoelement (the parameter measured in this case is specific thermodynamic irradiance). A simple simulation of the light transmission through a biological sample located on a chip to the chip surface was performed using Geant4 software developed by CERN (Scientific Linux OS). The following topology of the on-chip experiment is proposed: a sandwich-type chip system including a light source (LED), emitting photons from the point («World initStep»), a biological cell with cytoplasm («World») and an osmotic vacuole («Tank»), which is a part of the optical path from the light source to the detector of CCD or CMOS chip, which is considered as a target («OutOfWorld») and serves as a substrate for the biological sample. The possibility of the polarization parameter registration at the given experimental scheme and the path geometry is also mentioned. Due to the possibility and the initial application of the Monte-Carlo methods in Geant4 for the nuclear physics, the above model can be extrapolated towards the lab-on-a-chip with either a scintillation primary converter or without it (the operation principle of such a chip is based on the SEU – Single Event Upsets upon the single particle interaction with the pixels). It is also shown that Haar transforms and Fourier registrograms of the line scans from the CCD/CMOS can be considered as one of the sources of visualizable descriptors (both of the optical and primary non-optical signals).

The paper presents the research results achieved by creating a model of experimental pulpitis model and the influence of drugs. For the exposure there is used the propolis and retabolil. Based on data from their experimental research, it can be concluded that in the pulp chamber, the creation of the experimental pulpit model, cells of the connective tissue from the stable state were removed, and by the action of biologically active substances – propolis and retabolil – there were created conditions like gonads. As a result, division and differentiation of the cells were obtained by the figures of meiosis. Therefore, when two haploid single-cell cells of one organism merge, a zidopod-like cell will be obtained, which will be capable of (can be able to) develop and give rise to cellular populations.

There was studied the influence of neonols AF 9-12 and AFS 9-6 KM on parameters receptor connection of adrenal, serotoninal, dofaminal and glucocorticoid receptors of celebral cortex in subacute toxicological experiment on white rats Vistar population, that were exposed to 45 days feeding in dozes 1/100 and 1/1000 DL50. The revealed alterations on the part of 1-adrenoreceptors were characterized by inerese of affinity to lygand and decrease of number of this type of receptors. There was observed the increase of number of highly afinal and decrease of low afinal pool -adrenoreceptors in experimental groups of animals. The parameters of connection of serotoninal receptors of second type were chanding in affinity of connection with lygand. In animals of experimental groups were changed affinity D2-receptors to the marked lygand in cortex in comparison with control. Xenobiotics inereased the presence of glucocorticoid receptors in celebral cortex.

This paper provides a new approach for ion channels activity registration in noisy conditions with stochastic incoherent open-close transitions on membranes. The required result is obtained using phase-selective nanovoltmetric techniques with frequency discrimination. This technical principle is the foundation for different phase-selective (φ-path-clamp) methods, based on vector voltmeters or lock-in nanovoltmeters for indication of the real and imaginary components of the complex electrophysiological signals in the ion channel activity.

The best restoration for an endodontically treated tooth has long been debated on by dental practitioners and is considered an essential part of restorative practice. Tooth fracture following root canal therapy is a concern for patients and dentists alike. Recent advances in Dentistry have left dentists with a variety of treatment options which can be tailored to the needs of the patient. Interim restoration of an endodontically treated tooth using fiber-reinforced composite (FRC) is a suitable alternative to conventional restorations because it greatly contributes to the strength and resistance of a tooth. Shivanna and Gopeshetti (2012) concluded in their study that composite restorations reinforced with polyethylene fibers showed increased fracture resistance of root filled teeth and had favorable fracture lines. This paper presents the promising use of the fiber-reinforced composite to treat an endodontically treated mandibular permanent first molar which was completed in one appointment. This technique offers a cost-efficient alternative which does not compromise esthetics and function of the tooth.

This work is dedicated to study the protective action among the xanthine derivatives in the model of acute emotional stress environment. It was experimentally proved that caffeine, euphylline and pentoxyphylline have the stress protective activity in the dose of 100 mg/kg which was given twice by intragastric way. It was shown that the most active drug is pentoxyphylline, which supports peroxydant and antioxydant balance at the expense of active product of thiobarbituric acid and superoxide dismutase. The findings attest the presence of the stress protective properties in the xanthine derivatives and also suggest to use the xanthine derivatives in the diseases prevention of stress genesis
