Abstract- Now a days there are low-cost computers, storage devices and high-capacity networks are available which led to a growth in cloud computing. Cloud provides the advantage in scalability and cost-saving. The service owners can get the advantage on scale up or down the service and only pay for the hours of using the servers. The workloads of query services are highly dynamic and serving such workloads within house infrastructure will be inexpensive and inefficient. Data confidentiality and query privacy have become major concerns because the service providers lose the control over the data in the cloud. The data owner does not want to move to the cloud unless the data confidentiality and query privacy are guaranteed for the sensitive data..It is also necessary for a secure query service to provide efficient query processing and also reduce the in-house workload, because the purpose of using cloud resources is to reduce the need of maintaining scalable inhouse infrastructure. Data confidentiality, query privacy, efficient query processing, and low in-house processing cost are the requirement for constructing practical query service in the cloud. Satisfying al this requirement will increase the complexity of building query services in cloud. Some related approaches are there which will address some aspects of problem. We give the comparative study of these approaches with their limitations.

Abstract Slum is a heavily populated urban informal settlement characterized by substandard housing and poor civic amenities. While slums differ in size and other characteristics from country to country, most lack in reliable sanitation services, supply of clean water, reliable electricity, timely law enforcement and other basic services. Slum residences vary from shanty houses to densely-built dwellings with poor-quality design, construction and maintenance. Slums form and grow in many different parts of the world for many different reasons like rapid rural-to-urban migration, economic stagnation, high unemployment, poverty, informal economy, poor planning, political disturbance, natural disasters, social conflicts, etc. Strategies tried to reduce and transform slums in different countries, with varying degrees of success, include a combination of slum removal, slum relocation, slum upgrading, urban planning with city wide infrastructure development, and public housing projects. The objective of the present paper is, to analyse the impact of institutional interventions in infrastructure development on slum settlement and their subsequent growth pattern.

Abstract Plagiarism software’s has been in use for almost a decade to get the sense of “theft of intellectual property". However, in today’s digital world the easy access to the web, large databases, and telecommunication in general, has turned plagiarism into a serious problem for publishers, researchers and educational institutions. The first part of this paper discusses the different plagiarism detection techniques such as text based, citation based and shape based and compared with respect of their features and performance and an overview of different plagiarism detection methods used for text documents have taken. The second half of the paper is fully dedicated to copyrights in India.

Abstract The Z-Source Inverter (ZSI) has been reported suitable for residential PV system because of the capability of voltage boost and inversion in a single stage. Recently, four new topologies, the quasi-Z-Source Inverters (qZSI), have been derived from the original ZSI. This project analyzes one voltage fed topology of these four in detail and applies it to PV power generation systems. By using the new quasi-Z-Source topology, the inverter draws a constant current from the PV array and is capable of handling a wide input voltage range. It also features lower component ratings and reduced source stress compared to the traditional ZSI. A prototype which provides three phase 50-Hz, 230Vrms ac has been built in laboratory. It is demonstrated from the theoretical analysis and MATLAB/SIMULATION results that the proposed qZSI can realize voltage buck or boost and dc-ac inversion in a single stage with high reliability and efficiency, which makes it well suited for PV power systems.

Abstract This paper deals with review of the previous related research on evaluation of soil liquefaction due to Carbon sequestration by various Carbon Capture Sequestration processes in geological pits. It provides critical literature recommendations on evaluation of soil liquefaction potential assessment. The detection of soil liquefaction by using seismic records has been developed by various researchers. With this information, the evaluation of soil liquefaction are well understood and this lead to a more precise and confident output. Gaining support for CCS will require engaging the interest and building the support of a variety of stakeholders, each with different perspectives and goals. Although, CCS builds upon a technology base developed over more than half a century by the oil and gas industry. In the past, the industrially released CO2 had been introduced to ocean which was harming the aquatic animals. In view of this, the sequestration of CO2 into ocean was internationally banned. Hence, now much of the Carbon sequestration process is done by various industries in geological pits. This creates a major threat to the earth quake problems worldwide. With the enhanced frequency of earthquakes all around the world, it is presumed by many environment scientists that the CO2 sequestration pits leads to soil liquefaction and hence it results in more frequent earth quakes. Therefore, this paper summarises, different methods to evaluate liquefaction potential of soil by using studies from seismic waves generated in earth, it is also propose it is also explains different methodology for an eco friendly technology to reduce CO2 from environment.

Abstract This paper deals with Theoretical and Experimental methods for identification of coulomb ,Viscous and Particle damping parameters from the response of Single degree of freedom harmonically forced linear oscillator when system damped with more than one type of damping ,which parameter is responsible for the control of resonant response of vibrating systems, in experimental method setup have been presented to investigate steady state response amplitude xi for SDOF system for different values of amplitude Yi of the base excitation from this relationship of (Xi ,Yi) the values of viscous damping coefficient „c‟ and coulomb friction force F0 ,also equivalent viscous damping ratios ,have been calculated from frequency response analysis for the systems with viscous damping ,Viscous and Coulomb friction damping, coulomb friction damping and particle damping by using half power band-width method and in theoretical studies expression for steady state amplitude X0 obtained is used to study the effect of frequency ratio and coulomb friction parameters on phase angle and amplitude ratio.

Abstract This paper develops the numerical algorithm used to solve the equation of motion for the planar flexural forced vibration of the cantilever beam. The partial differential equation is first discretized in the spatial coordinate using Galerkin's weighted residual method.Then, the equation is discretized in the time domain using the Newmark technique and a numerical algorithm is used to calculate the nonlinear response of the beam
