ÖZET: Bu çalışmanın amacı galyum-arsenit'in karakteristik özelliklerinin geleceğe ilişkin öneminin gözden geçirilmesidir. Çalışmada galyum-arsenit teknoljisinin halihazırdaki durumunun gerçek bir ifadesi arzedilmekte ve bu geleceğe ait düşünülen büyük ihtimalleri realize etmeye yardımcı olmaktadır. Galyum-arsenit entegre devre teknolojisi tarihi bakımdan geleceğin teknolojisi olarak görülmektedir. Şu anda henüz tam anlamıyla geniş bir uygulanabilirliğe kavuşamamışsa da gittikçe benimsenmekte ve mevcut yüksek-hızlı entegre devrelerin ticari kaynağını oluşturmaktadır. Galyum-arsenit'ten yapılan yüksek-hızlı lojik devreler, hesaplama ve işaret işleme gibi sahalarda ümit vermektedir. Geçen onbeş-yirmi yıl, galyum arsenit teknolojisinin laboratuvardan piyasaya çıkışını sergilemektedir. Bu yenilikler, ilk zamanlarda dijital ve analog uygulamaların her ikisine ait tek bir cihazdan başlayarak zamanla daha kompleks entegre devre cihazlarına geçişteki karmaşıklığın korkunç gelişimini bir arada götürmektedir. Galyum-arsenit devrelerinin karmaşıklık seviyesi ve hızının her ikisinde birden ileriye dönük çalışmalara ait ana prensipleri ortaya koyan hedefler, yeni yayın teknolojisi, münferit haberleşme ve oldukça hızlı bilgisayarlar gibi sahalardaki müşterek gereklilikleri artırmaktadır. On this work, a realistic statement of current status of gallium-arsenide technology will provide and for future this will help to realise the enormous possibilities which we believe lie ahead. Gallium-arsenide integrated circuit technology has historically been portrayed as the technology of future. Now although it has not attained the wide complete applicability, it has gradually becoming an accepted and commercially available source of high-speed integrated circuits. High-speed logic circuits fabricated in gallium arsenide have shown promise for applications such as computing and signal processing. The past fifteen-twenty years have seen the emergence of gallium-arsenide technology from laboratuary to the market place. This innovations have been accompanied by dramatic increases in complexity from early single devices to the integrated circuits of considerable complexity for both digital and analogue applications. The aims to lay down sound principles of forthcoming developments in which both the speed and level of the complexity of gallium-arsenide circuits will increase dramatically meeting needs in such as areas as ultra fast computers, personnel communications and new broadcasting technology. ÖZET: Bu çalışmada malzeme olarak seçilmiş olan Ankara ili sınırları içinde yer alan, Delice İlçe Merkezi’nden geçmekte olan Koru deresinde ulaşımı sağlamak amacı ile 13.70 m mesnet açıklığında 8 m platform genişliğinde kirişli betonarme köprü inşaatının CPM-PERT metodu ile iyi bir planlama ve yapımında kullanılan minimum süre ve maliyeti hesaplanmaktır. ABSTRACT: In this study, CPM-PERT method is used to find out the minimum time and cost of the bridge constructed in Delice (Ankara) on the Koru river. ÖZET: Bu çalışmada, baca zemin kotları, kanal uzunlukları ve akış yönleri belirlenmiş olan kanalizasyon şebekesinin tasarımını yapmak üzere bir bilgisayar programı geliştirilmiştir. ÖZET: Bu çalışma; fungisit, insektisit ve yangın önleyici olumlu etkileri bilinen borlu maddelerden borik asit (BA) ve sodyum perborat (SP)'ın, odunda higroskopisiteyi ne ölçüde etkilediğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Suda çözünen tuz formülasyonları içerisinde yer alan borlu maddelerin, higroskopisitede neden oldukları muhtemel artışın engellenebilmesi amacıyla; BA ve SP'ın sulu çözeltileri yanında, PEG-400 (P4)'de çözündürülerek hazırlanmış preparatları, parafin (P)'le birlikte hazırlanan % 15'lik sulu çözeltisi ve su itici maddeler (SİM)'den, stiren (St), metilmetakrilat (MMA) ile izosiyanat (ISO)'la birlikte tek ve ikili işlemli emprenyelerde kullanılan birçok çözeltileri hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, BA ve SP'ın tam kuru oduna oranla % 0.69-4.60 gibi düşük retensiyonlarına karşılık, bunlardan anlamlı derecede (P?0.05) farklı olmak üzere P4'lü çözeltiler ve SİM'de % 20-60 gibi yüksek retensiyon oranları elde edildiğini göstermiştir. Retensiyon oranları üzerindeki belirleyici etkenin çözücü madde olduğu ortaya çıkarken, higroskopisite açısından 4 farklı homojenlik grubu oluşmuştur. Bunlar, higroskopisiteyi en çok artıran maddelerden başlayarak; (1) P4, (2) P4+BA veya SP, Kontrol, (3) SİM, BA veya SP+SİM ve (4) P+BA+Bx'tır. Böylece, P4 dışında hiçbir uygulamanın odunda kontrole oranla higroskopisiteyi önemli derecede ( P? 0.05) artırmadığı belirlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Bor, Emprenye, Odun koruma, Higroskopisite, Kızılçam. ABSTRACT: As a water borne salt type, boron salts also tend to increase in hygroscopicity of wood. This phonomenon is known as one of the disadvantages of these salts in wood preservation in spite of their protective effectiveness against biological agents and fire. This study was designed to determine the rate of higroscopicity both treated and untreated Brutia pine wood. Impregnation solutions of boric acid (BA) and sodium perborate (SP) was prepared by water and polyethylene glycol (PEG)-400 (P4). Additionally, some water repellents (WRs) such as paraffin wax (P), styrene (St), methylmethacrylate (MMA) and isocyanate (ISO) were used to keep the hygroscopicity level of wood at an acceptable level. Results indicated that paraffin wax and WRs were considerably lowered the hygroscopicity of wood. 4 homogenity groups were formed from the statistical analysis as follows (from the most hygroscopic treatments to lesser, respectively) : (1) P4, (2) P4+BA or SP, control, (3) WRs, BA or SP+WRs and, (4) P+BA+Bx (% 15 aqueous solution). None of the solutions increased the hygroscopicity of wood than control treatments, but P4 (P? 0.05). Key words: Boron, Impregnation, Wood preservation, Hygroscopicity, Brutia pine.

ÖZET: Bu araştırma Burhaniye Yöresinde topraklarının verimlilik ve diğer problemlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma konusu topraklar allüviyal topraklardır. İklim mutedil ve yarı yağışlıdır. Bitki örtüsü tarımsal bitkilerdir. Topoğrafya hemen hemen düzdür. Hakim toprak yapıcı süreçler zayıf kireçleşme ve podzollaşma, yıkanma, birikme, kayıp, yer değiştirme ve sentezdir. Horizonlaşma durumu zayıftır. Hidrolik geçirgenlik sınıfları orta yavaş, orta ve orta hızlıdır. Drenaj orta ve yetersizdir. Tekstür sınıfları orta, orta derecede ince ve incedir. Bu topraklar tuzsuz topraklardır. Reaksiyon sınıfları hafif alkali ve orta derecede alkalidir. Kireçlilik sınıfları eseri, az kireçli ve orta derecede az kireçlidir. Organik madde sınıfları çok az, az, orta ve yüksektir. Bunlara ilaveten bir kısım verimlilik, toprak amenajman kompaktlaşma ve pulluk tabanı oluşumu ve ilgili diğer problemler de mevcuttur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Toprak verimliliği, Burhaniye yöresi. ABSTRACT: The research was carried out with aim of determining fertility and other problems in the vicinity of Burhaniye. The research soils are alluvial soils. The climate is moderate and semi humid. The vegetation are agricultural plants. The topography is almost smooth. Dominant soil farming processes are weak calcification and podsolization, eluviasyon, illuviasyon, loss, translocation and synthesis. The aspect of horizonation is weak. Hydraulic conductivity classes are moderately slow, medium and moderately speed. Drainage classes are medium and poor. Texture classes are medium, moderately fine and fine. These soils are insaline soils. Reaction classes are slightly alkali and moderately alkali. Calcareous classes are trace, few and moderately few. Organic matter classes are very few, few, medium and high. Phosphorus and potassium classes are very few, few, medium and high. ÖZET: Bu çalışma, yoğun şehir yerleşim bölgelerine ait üç fazlı yeraltı kablolu alçak gerilim fiderlerinin dizaynı için daha önce yapılan bir çalışmanın (Pekiner, 1993) yapay sinir ağları ile uygulamasıdır. Burada yapılan, mevcut verilerden hareketle yapay sinir ağları metodunu kullanarak giriş değerlerindeki değişmelerin, çıkış değerlerini ne şekilde etkileyeceğini belli bir eğitme sonucunda öğretme işlemidir. Bu yaklaşımla giriş değerleri olan yükteki, kayıp faktördeki ve enerji maliyetindeki yıllık büyümelerin değişmesi durumunda çıkış değerleri olan kesitin değişimi rahatlıkla bulunabilmektedir. In this study, it is a training operation resulted in an obvious test from moving available values by using artificial neural networks method, variations of input values how to effect to output values. ÖZET: Araştırmada, Et ve Balık Kurumu (EBK) Erzurum Et Kombinasında, Erzurum ve çevre illerden gelen Morkaraman ırkı tokluların kesimini müteakip, uygulanan ön soğutma ve dondurma işlemleri sırasında oluşan ağırlık kayıpları (fire) belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, tespit edilen ağırlık kayıpları, değişik araştırıcılar tarafından belirlenen değerler ile karşılaştırılarak, ülkemiz şartlarında uygulanan ön soğutma ve dondurma yöntemlerinin iyileştirilmesine yönelik bazı sonuç ve öneriler saptanmıştır. Kesim amacı ile EBK Erzurum Et Kombinasına getirilen koyunlar arasından, her defasında şansa bağlı olarak seçilen 64 toklunun kesimi ile elde edilen karkaslar, ön soğutma ve dondurma depolarına alınmıştır. Yedi kez tekrar edilerek toplam 448 karkas ile gerçekleştirilen işlemler sırasında kombinanın genel uygulamalarına müdahalede bulunulmamıştır. Sonuçta, ön soğutmada ortalama %1.88, dondurmada ortalama %1.3 olmak üzere, toplam %3.18'lik ağırlık kaybının oluştuğu, bu kayıplar üzerine; karkas ağırlığının, soğutma ve dondurma süresinin, depo doluluk oranının, depo ortamında uygulanan hava sirkülasyon hızı ve depo nisbi neminin etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. ABSTRACT: Total weight loss of Morkaraman breed lamb carcasses were determined during the precooling and also during the freezing process of the carcasses. Research was carried out in the cooling and freezing rooms of Turkish State Slaughter House (EBK) of Erzurum. Determined results were compared with the literature values given by different researches. Some suggestions were made to optimize the precooling and frozen process. In each trial, 64 lambs were selected randomly from different herds had been come to slaughter. After slaughter and dressing carcasses were showered with cold water, and removing the kidney and peripheral fats, the carcasses were used in precooling and freezing experiments. Precooling, freezing and all the other treatments were done in the practical handling conditions of EBK, that is none of those conditions were rearranged or altered, and what had been happening in those conditions were aimed to be determined. Experiment was repeated 7 times, thus total of 448 whole carcasses were used in the entire research work. At the end of this study, the average precooling and freezing weight losses were 1.88% and 1.3% respectively and their sum was 3.18%. It was determined that duration of precooling and freezing, average carcass weight, relative humidity, air circulation and loading percentage of the rooms were very effective on the weight losses. ÖZET: Bu çalışmada burkulma olayı basit çubuklar kullanılarak denendi. Elde edilen değerler daha sonra teorik tahminlerle karşılaştırıldı. Deney sırasında değişik uzunluklarda üç çelik çubuk kullanıldı. Bunlardan birisi sabit olarak diğer ikiside hareket edebilecek şekilde mesnetlendi. Yükleme her bir çubuk için farklı olmak üzere eksantirik olarak sağlı sollu yüklemeye tabii tutuldu. Buna ek olarak değişik uzunluklarda altı aluminyum çubuk üzerinde deney yapıldı. Her bir çubuk için ölçülen kritik yükleme buna karşılık gelen Euler ve Southwell tahminleriyle karşılaştırıldı.Çelikten üretilmiş bir çubuk için; burkulmanın, simetri eksenin sağında ve solunda aynı olması beklenirken çubukların yapısındaki kusurlar nedeniyle aynı olmamaktadır. Yapılan deneylerde çubukların yarım sinus dalgası şeklinde burkulduğu; çubuğun bir tarfinin sabit mesnetli olarak yüklendiği durumda etkin uzunluğun azaldığı ve kritik yükün arttığı gözlenmiştir. Aluminyum çubuklarda deformasyon sırasındaki plastik davranış nedeniyle kritik yükün tespiti çok büyük zorluk göstermektedir. Çeliklerden üretilmiş çubuklar için hem Euler hem de Southwell formülleri kritik yükün tahmininde çok yakın sonuçlar vermektedir. These results were then compared with the theoretical predictions. Three steel struts of different length were used in the experiment; one of them had fix/pinned-end all the others had pin/pin-end joint. The applied load was placed at different eccentricities for each strut. Six aluminium pin-end struts of varying length were also tested. The measured critical load for each strut was compared against the corresponding Euler and Southwell predictions. For a steel strut, it would be expected that buckling would be symmetrical for left and right eccentricities. However, this was not the case due to imperfections in the struts. The struts buckled with half sine-wave and if one end of the strut was fixed the effective length was reduced and the critical load was increased. In the case of the aluminium struts, due to plastic behaviour in the deformation it was much harder to find the critical load. For steel struts both Euler and Southwell predictions were close to initial estimates of critical load. ÖZET: Bu çalışmada endüstriyel hidrolik devre elemanlarından olan yön denetim valfeleri teorik olarak analiz edilmiştir. Yüzeyleri paralel işlenmiş valf sürgüsü ile valf gövdesi (silindir) arasındaki viskos akışkan kaçağı belirlenmiştir. Sürgü yüzeyinin konik olması halinde analiz genişletilmiştir. Valf perfonmansı için akışkan kaçağının mümkün mertebe az olması istendiğinde eksen kaçıklığı, piston boyu ve koniklik değerlerini uygun değerlerde seçilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Çalışma boyutsuz parametrelerle yürütülmüştür. A viscous fluid leakage between the spool ( piston of which the surfaces being machined parallel to each other ) and the valve body has been obtained. It has been seen that the misalignment within the piston-cylinder system increases the fluid leakage. Analysis has been expanded to cover the conical spool surfaces. It was concluded that for reduced leakage (as far as possible ) the misalignment, piston length and the value of surface coning should be selected properly. ÖZET: Bu çalışmada, uzama serleşmeli malzemeden yapılmış şaftların elastik-plastik burulma problemini ele alınmıştır. Problemin çözümünde ortaya çıkan ve şu ana kadar analitik çözümü bilinmeyen non-lineer kısmi diferensiyel denklem, dönüşüm fonksiyonları yardımıyla çözümleri çok iyi bilinen Laplace diferensiyel denklemine indirgenmekte ve τ xy, τ xz gerilmeleri ile T torku eliptik ve dairesel kesitler için bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca, gerilmeler ile burulma momentinin gerilme uzama bağıntısındaki n sabitine bağlı olmadığı da ispat edilmektedir. Nonlinear partial differential equation derived is reduced to a well known Laplace equation by means of transformation functions and stresses τ xz, τ yz and the torque T are analytically found for elliptical and circular cross sections.
