The dynamics of the globalized world has demanded major changes in organizations, whether those producing tangible goods, are for the service providers. And while complying with the changes, we can consider the revolutions experienced by humanity, considering that most changed the market scenario for the first time was 1st industrial revolution, and the other, the information revolution. In this context, the aim of this paper is to demonstrate through the literature review, the significant and important transformation of information for the area of marketing organizations. The information revolution, having as its precursor and legitimate allied to technology and the internet, respectively, made time a new type of marketing: digital marketing. present on the internet, may obtain a competitive advantage and result in higher profitability.
