Critical Thinking Development Technology Among Senior Pupils at Physics Lessons

The article describes the methodological aspects of the technology development of critical thinking among senior pupils at lessons of physics. The article presents the analysis of the structure of the lesson on the development of critical thinking in students. It is shown that the technology is competence-oriented.
The analysis showed that the technology of development of critical thinking differs from traditional methods the new role of teacher and student in their joint activity at the lesson. Traditionally, the presentation of material is deposited in the structure – statement, the assimilation of new training material, synthesis, application of knowledge in practice. In this case, the teacher is entirely responsible for the results and direction of the educational process. Therefore, in the conventional training, the main task of the teacher to involve pupils at the stage of presentation of new training material. This goal is difficult to achieve, since the teacher uses methods that consider him only as a subject of study, informant, who reports a certain amount of knowledge. With the development of critical thinking, the student is not the object of learning, not a passive recipient of information with memorization, but the subject of education. He is actively involved in the process of obtaining knowledge through reflection plans its training activities (under the guidance of a teacher). This academic activity contributes to the development of educational-cognitive competence. Therefore, technology of critical thinking development in students is competentness oriented technology training.
