The article describes a methodology for assessing information situations and determining information characteristics between objects – information superiority. The author brings to light the concept of information superiority for static and dynamic information situations; applies dichotomic analysis for exploring information situations and information superiority; describes static and dynamic information situations; brings to light the concept of informing and information states; illustrates three types of assessing information states; describes various information situations: “by the degree of being informed”, “by goal achievement”, “by flows”, and “by interaction”; provides formulas for assessing states and coefficients for assessing these states; illustrates that the proposed methodology helps assess the competitiveness of objects and resource support for them.

The article addresses the issues of historiography and source materials analysis on the origin and development of archiving in Novonikolaevsk (since February 1926 – Novosibirsk) in the 1930s of XX century. October 1, 1925 Novonikolayevsk County Archive office was established as a division of the Novosibirsk District Executive Committee, which was responsible for accounting organization and archival documents preservation, pre-revolutionary institutions lists compilation, and after the revolution – for the unchecked archives identification and search, departmental archives revision and instructing of local archivists. By the Resolution of the Siberian Regional Archival Bureau dated July 27 1930 Novosibirsk District Archive Bureau was abolished and for the further institutions and enterprises maintenance the local archives office was organized in Novosibirsk City Executive Committee. Research on different types of historical documents reflecting the characteristics of work organization in Novosibirsk archive Bureau's Department of archives and district executive committees archives, conditions of archival funds formation, classification and use, archivists staff appointments, their accounting and qualifications, allowed to accumulate the historiography and source studies experience on the organization of archives in Novonikolaevsk through the example of the Archival Bureau in the first five years of its existence. Archival materials stored in MPI «Novosibirsk City Archives» and GKU NSO «State Archives of the Novosibirsk region» were used as the documentary basis of the article.

The article presents the results of research associated with the study of the role and place of interactive teaching methods in the process of forming ethnopedagogical competence of future teachers. The authors of the article special attention focuses on such methods as: discussion (the discussion on the clash of views, exchange of opinions); "brainstorming" (active search for answers with the help of guesses, ideas, hypotheses, associations); round table (discussing moral issues with representatives of different sectors of society); business game (simulation, emulation, image, reflection, managing different situations and their modeling); contests of practical work with their discussion; training (active correction method by communicating in groups, modeling interpersonal relationships); work in micro-groups; problem solving.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the results of empirical research of the personal values as bases for self-assessments of some personal virtues. The study is implemented in line with positive psychology, and is based on the concept of values as basic foundations of a particular human actions. The empirical research of a self-assessment of expressiveness of personal values at 658 residents of 4 Siberian cities of Russia. (Tomsk, Kemerovo, Barnaul, Lesosibirsk) was carried out in 2013-2014 with the use of the technique the "Questionnaire of 24 virtues" developed by E.N. Osin on the basis of a questionnaire "A profile of personal values" of K. Peterson and M. Seligman's Values-In-Action. The results of cluster and correlation analysis were presented, allowing to isolate distinct groups of the virtues in a sample and to connect these to the basic beliefs and values.
